Exactly, I don’t understand some of this criticism. AB was repeatedly reported as the hardest worker on that team in Pittsburgh. He was a late round draft and made the most of it through sheer hard work similar to Edelman for us (also known for effort) but at a another level as AB became one of the best in the League. And he’s no one-trick pony, running a wide range of routes. A lot of this is said to driven by his very religious upbringing and strong faith.
Please don’t confuse some errant behaviour with a desire to succeed and the hard work required to do so. AB would have fit into our hardworking culture like a glove.
