I agree. Make him feel pain. If he gets injured, it's his fault for not having the ability to defend himself against real men.

I may be ok getting into bar fights, but there's only so long I'd be able to run around an MMA ring before I get caught and snapped in two.

There was a good segment on NFL Network only a little while ago where the presenters zeroed in on the Patriots defending Tim Tebow last season. From memory it was Ninkovich's role to defend Tebow and only Tebow. Every time he had the ball, it was his job to hit Tebow. It was an interesting segment and one which could easily support your opinion.

Ya, a good QB Shadow I think is needed. It means you have one less person defending against the pass (unless the pass is in your area), but it helps contain the QB
