For the upcoming film about Brady and this Super Bowl, it'd be easy to only focus on Deflategate/Defamegate and Brady's journey against the forces of darkness. However, let's not forget some of the other great Revenge Tour moments this season:
* shocking the world by defeating the Cardinals -- a Super Bowl contender at that point -- with a backup in a complete nail-biter
* shocking the world by blowing out the Texans with a third stringer
* trading a Pro Bowl talent, but ultimately selfish player in Jamie Collins thus restating that the Patriot way sometimes includes tough choices
* a moment of humility in being defeated by the Seahawks who were still salty about their loss to us in the Super Bowl
* beating the Broncos with defense, the team that sent us packing the prior season twice with their defense
* beating Rex Ryan in probably his last game against the Pats as an NFL head coach
* silencing the Steelers who always find a way to complain about headset malfunction or being out-coached after every game. Oh, and beating Big Ben who always has a sprained tear duct that might keep him from playing ever again.
The Super Bowl is a great game, but there isn't really much drama with the Falcons as a franchise. All of the above can add a little fuel to the narrative if need be! : )
