750 days after the manufacturing of Defamegate the frail pillars of #integrity holding up its scientifically illiterate conclusions came crashing down in tremendous fashion. A glorious historic victory followed by a thunderous chorus of boos, a clown T-shirt and the continuous peppering of peripheral insults. "Roger That".

Roger ran to Atlanta with his ragged tail tucked between his cowering legs believing he had found his savior. An offensive juggernaut that could surely bring his arch nemesis down. "Blank....I need you to win this one...It's the final battle.....It is my Armageddon". Cowards never fight their own battles rather they surround themselves with sacrificial pawns and flee when the last pawn falls.

Super Bowl 49 was the Patriots' first major victory. Defame War was in its infancy but its fury was in full force. The "CHEATERS" label had once again resurfaced through nefarious means. A fraudulent Tweet, a simple gas law flipped on its head by the simple minded mediots who failed to use absolute values and a number of ignorant NFL veterans tossing around deflated footballs proclaiming "I would have known." The media pressure the Patriots endured during the run up to the Super Bowl was unprecedented. And Yet they "Did their Job". Butler's pick was a thrusting stab into the Fraudulent one's soul.

Super Bowl 51 was Roger's Armageddon. It was the final battle prophetically played on the 5th of February (5/2) which ultimately resulted with Brady's Super Bowl record being 5-2. Roger thought he had finally crucified the GOAT with a four game suspension. "How could they survive a season without their Field General for a quarter of the season?" was an oft spewed montra. Fortunately Roger and others underestimated "this team" of fearlessly competent warriors. The crucifixion served as inspiration for the men and a rallying cry for the masses. "You can crush other teams with your bull **** Gates but "Not This Team!". Four games later the GOAT returned and four arduous months later he and his elite battalion arrived to the Great Colosseum to deliver the final Death Blow to the Fraudulent one. It was delivered with a tortuous 25 point historic comeback and a soul shattering overtime stab with the Magical White dagger.

It's over. Roger lost.

49+51 = 100. The FU Tour is 100% complete.

I suppose the sequel should be much more ridiculous.

I suggest
FU2 : Tom goes to camp

I got to say I feel a lot better about 2007 right now. BUT if after Roger's superbowl presser, you think the FU tour is over, you're crazy. The man lied for the full 45 and didn't stop saying what he did was right. Doesn't sound OVER to me.

And now, with his complaints about clowngate, Roger has proven that he can dish it out, but CANNOT take it.

BTW- If I promise to wear a clown T-shirt, can somenone get me a ticket to opening night?

That was magnificent Tony, and this little gem of a paragraph is clearly sig-worthy.

I didn't want to start a thread on it, but I was thinking this morning...
I'm good.

I'm over the 2 losses to goober.
I'm over BS gate
I'm over Camera Gate.
The few empty "cheater" holdouts don't bother me. I no longer feel the need to acknowledge them.
This win was the ultimate "Just STFU".
Before I thought "Anything else is gravy". but now I actually believe it.

I'm good.

The FU is forever but any Lombardi with Brady and Belichick is gravy imo. #5 was the dagger in the hearts of the haters and Brady and Belichick are both GOAT's. I'll obviously take whatever they win but they have nothing left to prove, now they are just breaking new ground for excellence. The only milestone left that I can see is total Lombardi'a by a franchise, and they could actually tie or break that with one Coach/QB combo. They could, however, also create their second Dynasty of the 21st century by winning next season, and they would bookend the Brady Belichick era. I'm not saying that would be over but 3 out of 4 15 years apart with the same coach and QB would be amazing.

Ok, talked myself into it, there's still work to be done.

I understand what you're saying.

I live in NYC.

I was in line at my local market this morning when some woman started going on about how "unfair" the Overtime rules were that the Falcons didn't get the ball.

Rather than educate her on the finer points of the debate between players and owners over OT and the recent changes in the rules, I found myself saying something that I never would have said before, even after SB XLIX:

"With all due respect, Ma'am, they could have extended Overtime for another two hours and there was no way the Falcons were going to win that game. They hadn't put a point up in nearly an hour, they'd allowed 31 unanswered points, their Coach and Quarterback were choking and their Defense was exhausted. Playing any longer would have been cruel and unusual punishment."

I smiled and walked away.

Deflategate is over to me. He lost.

He is still an incompetent ass wipe that needs to go. He still may want to start something else. Clowngate? But as far as Deflategate or Spygate for that matter they are over and he lost.

Since Spygate the Patriots have been to 7 AFC Championship games and 4 Super Bowls.

Since Deflategate the Patriots have been to 3 AFC Championship games and 2 Super Bowls.

They said they were winning because of Spygate and then Deflategate. They are still winning but how? Now they are saying BB and Brady are GOATS.

Roger lied. He was massively Booed in front of millions of viewers. He lost.

The Tide is Turning.

Should he pay for his misdeeds? Absolutely. Did he win the Deflategate war? No. He lost and now he's "seething". I love it.

Great post! But it's not over yet. but it was a big time FU to the rest of the league. We need to keep winning the next 4 years to prove that the loss of draft picks didn't hurt us. The only other way is if we get like 2 1st round picks, and a few other picks for Jimmy. Then it would be done because the suspension allowed Jimmy to showcase himself to increase his value.

But with that being said, as someone previous mentioned, it's never over! We need to keep winning, again, and again, and again, and again...

I would feel great if the Pats kept winning SB after SB. And I would love to see Roger "Seethe" as he handed over each trophy. I am simply saying BB and Brady won the Deflategate war. Roger lost. He's seething and I love it.
