There’s more than one way to play defense, and that idea has been in the back of my mind for a bit. Would really take advantage of Williams’ versatility, and could turn the DL into a monster.

I am intrigued by a pseudo early 2000s DL McDonald (wilfork), Williams (Seymour) and Barmore (the other guy who's name escapes me).

The risk outweighs the reward. Pats have too much capital tied up at DL. Even if he's good, the Pats still can't rush the QB from the edges, can't pass protect and need help at WR. Overall, you're really not any better.

Dallas was one rumor for him in the low 20’s. So not a shock. But definitely one of my favorite prospects left.

That's why you Trade up and not sit on your hands.

Moving up to get ahead of Pitts would have taken 31, 95 and a 4th at least and then the draft capital for AJ Brown (ewww).

Just doesn't seem realistic to me
