My boy Caleb FTWHoly shat at Kelce.
Here are top ones this year—nobody hitting that 4.46 threshold
I would Reach in Second Round for Ozzie Trapilo can't take any chances: the guy have Starter written all over him also came from our backyard.I'll preface this by saying OL is probably the position group I struggle most to evaluate, and I appreciate I'm on an island here, but to me Ozzy Trapilo is the safest tackle pick in the entire draft.
There's no question about him being a tackle or a guard, maybe a discussion to be had on whether he can play LT, played both in college but was mainly RT.
I think he's the most solid pass protecting tackle in the entire draft. He's not a monster who knocks rushers on their ass, but he consistently keeps them away from the QB. I think he only gave up 3 sacks in his entire college career.
He's not very effective in the run game, he's not going to drive anyone out of their lane, but he'll stand there and block. But he could definitely improve there.
I'm seeing him ranked in as varied a range as 2nd to 4th round. If we could nab him in the 3rd I think he'd be a steal.
The Eagles at 64 scare me regarding Trapilo. They are probably looking for a long term replacement for Lane Johnson. I wouldn't draft Ozzy at 38, but I'd be prepared to trade up from 69 for him.I would Reach in Second Round for Ozzie Trapilo can't take any chances: the guy have Starter written all over him also came from our backyard.
He did give up 5 sacks when playing LT but that can be explained away by it being his debut season. I haven't found an explanation as to why.Anyone have any insight into why Trapilo was switched to RT after starting at LT in 2022? Did it not go well or did they have to accommodate someone else? I’m curious about his performance there vs RT.
Thanks. From what I’ve read he looked good at LT at the senior bowl. I have doubts he makes it out of the second round. He did give up 5 sacks when playing LT but that can be explained away by it being his debut season. I haven't found an explanation as to why.
It would probably be safe to assume that other SEC OTs did. Most teams do not stick their pass rushing edge/DE on just one side. Banks and Membou I would imagine faced the same gauntlet of pass rushersInteresting. What this doesn’t account for is the level of competition they were up against. Hard to imagine any one dealt with better pass rushers than Will Campbell.
One thing to bear in mind is that Josh Simmons didn't really face any serious opposition before he got injured. I still think he has the best tape for a LT, but the above chart is skewed somewhat by that fact.Interesting. What this doesn’t account for is the level of competition they were up against. Has BGC retired?
One of my binkies. He's a development prospect for sure, but his measurable, athleticism and tape tell me who could be a starting OT long-term.What do you think of OT Logan Brown? Hurry! We’d like to know about this guy who beat up teammates at Wisconsin but has first round traits.
He was a Jayhawk for a while. Not too inspiring.
