Manxman2601 challenges us to build the best and most athletic OL for the long-term. Will Campbell will be the starting LT, and Jared Wilson will start at either LG or C. You need to pick a RT, RG, and either a LG or C depending on how Wilson is used. Which combos would you pick, and why?

You may make up to 3 choices.

My first choice would to add Kade Pieper at C, keeping Jared Wilson at LG. At RG I would add Austin Siereveld, Cayden Green, or Carter Smith. At RT I would have Monroe Freeling, Niki Prongos, or Blake Miller.

My second choice would be to move Jared Wilson to C. At LG I would have Austin Siereveld or Cayden Green. At RG I would have Carter Smith. RT would be unchanged.

C Kade Pieper. RG Austin Siereveld, RT Monroe Freeling

Of all the linemen listed, Kade Pieper and Trevor Goosby probably have the most pure athleticism.

I've been in love for 2 months now with the idea of Jared Wilson at LG and Kade Pieper at C. I can't recall having such an athletic combination.

Goosby may have Lane Johnson athleticism, though I don't know if he's strong enough.

Campbell-Wilson-Pieper-Smith-Goosby would likely be the most athletic option of those listed.

I would probably still prefer Austin Siereveld and Monroe Freeling or Niki Prongos at RG/RT. Not sure how they will compare in terms of raw athleticism, but I feel they are more than athletic enough.

We know Vrabel likes tough, violent players, guys who play with an attitude, blue collar guys with a chip on their shoulder, smart players, guys with leadership skills, and guys with a strong work ethic. Who has insane athleticism and most of the above?

Part of why I like Monroe Freeling and Kade Pieper. Freeling slept with ice on his injured ankle so he could hobble out for the Auburn game and win SEC lineman of the week awards for his performance. Pieper wrestles farm animals and holds them for neutering, for crissakes.

I'm all for athleticism, but not at the expense of other attributes.

Pieper has won some Hay Bale Toss competition 2 years running.
