The Pats gave up 19.6 PPG through the first three games. They didn’t need to score that much more.
Do you not see that this argument makes no sense?
It does not matter what the defense gave up, if the offense can score, they score,

Do you think if 20 ppg are enough the offense just quits when they score 21 and say nah why scoring another TD, it’s useless?

They were NOT ABLE to score more than 17 ppg, if they could have scored more they would have but with mac you can’t

You can if he had a better options to throw to. A better TE would have made that catch in the end zone. Gie-sucky (see what I did there) didn't. JJSS is terrible. Pop is good but he's a rookie.

Mac deserves a lot of blame for the loss. The lion's share of it but his O-line is terrible and the off season acquisitions are also terrible. It all points back to BB the GM.

And another reason I mentioned earlier as well
Our passing schemes look like some 1950 old stuff which is predictable af

We need to get some modern innovative coaches on offense

I missed the first two scores of the game because I was watching the CBS post-game waiting for them to quit yakking and switch to the game. Then I realized it was on FOX. Should have stayed with CBS ...

Jones got a serious case of the stupids yesterday. Needed benching the same as a PR putting the ball on the ground repeatedly.

The Saints is a winnable game at home. Mac's not getting benched for that one.

He doesn’t need to cover himself in glory. He just need to not **** on himself like Mac does.
He didn't **** on himself in the game yesterday and that resulted in zero points and a very long missed FG. Great production there.

Mac had his worst game as a pro yesterday but I don't think it's time to jump off a cliff about him yet. These clunkers happen to everyone. I am mostly troubled about the regression in fundamentals (not throwing off your back foot or across the field) above all else. I wonder how much of that is a sense of hopelessness for this offense. Sometimes when you know you aren't gonna win you just stop giving a **** and start ****ing around with the ball. I am willing to accept that Mac doesn't have the mental strength to overcome NFL adversity but I still think he has the physical tools to be an above average QB.

The mentality is very important if you have an below average arm and mechanical issues but he lacks the mentality to be an successful nfl qb imo

Wow, what a terrible game. Mac was awful. He looked like he was far from starting qb quality. Looks like the patriots are back in the qb market. This year could suck.
Could suck or will suck?? Be specific!

Mac = cry Baby.

Yeah like Zappe covered himself in glory when he was in the game.
Zappe is irrelevant. The team has already made their decision on him. He’ll be cut once the Patriots decide it’s time to elevate Grier and let him compete with Mac or decide that Malik is a QB not a WR, or get someone else in here to compete with Mac. Either way unfortunately it looks like the Patriots must go QB in round 1 next spring when I’d rather see them address their OL issues.

I've heard compelling argument that Claypool has serious maturity and motivation issues from his time on Pittsburgh onward.

Haven't watched this particular video, it's just the first thing that came up on my search, but it shows that's sort of the word on Claypool these days.

I heard the reports about him in Chicago.. I didn't hear to much rumblings in Pittsburgh though. He was a baller with big Ben though. He has everything you want in a WR.. something has to give. At WR.. Parker and JuJu just aren't producing. I really believe JuJu is hurt. Parker looks a step slower than last season.. the only way the season is salvaged if they trade for a game breaker at WR and that's DeVante adams.
