Inferior WR room (?):
I meant worse than last year..they Probably have one of the bottom 5 wr group in the nfl and goff is worse than Stafford imo.

Tyrell Williams, Breshad Perriman, Amon St. Brown, Geronimo Allison, Quintez Cephus.

I'd say it's a revamped room with only 1 guy returning from last year. It's not like Amendola, Hall, Sanu, Jones and Golloday were world beaters last year.
Agree nur they had injuries if i remember correctly with KD.
Goff isn't spectacular, but he's not Marc Wilson, either.
I am courious to see Goff Outside the McVay offense

Looks like our big 2021 FA spend when the cap was low is gonna work out just fine.

Bounce back to almost pre-COVID levels happening faster than most suggested it would.

Almost as if BB and BK expected it, ya think?

Those signings already looked good to me...now, even more so.

Funny thing is, despite the big spend this season, I saw one projection that said we'd have $30m in cap space to spend next year.

A lot of teams will have a lot of cap next year, but we tend to go after the middle class players anyway.

We'll have enough cap to make some course corrections if necessary.

Presumably we'll have MJ as starting QB next season with four more years of control that will work in our favor.

I'm really looking forward to the next few seasons.

It's 29.7M with 42 players signed as of 5/29. That doesn't include any of the 15M that the Patriots currently that might get carried over.

That number is going to DROP when Jones, Barmore, and Perkins are signed.
1 of those players currently counting includes CHUNG at a price of over $4M. That will change with the June 1 retirement.

That number will change depending on what happens with Gilmore and JC Jackson as well.

.
You mean course corrections like signing 4 starting defensive backs? Gilmore, Jackson, McCourty and Phillips are all free agents. Jonathan Jones is will be in the final year of his contract.

They aren't going to be bringing Phillips back. That's why they have Dugger and Bledsoe.

I agree. But I do wonder if bb will try and sign Gilmore to an extension before the season starts.

Bledsoe doesn't make a starter redundant. If Phillips is willing to take the right deal, he could easily come back.

I think one of the pictures from ota showed Bledsoe in a sling on the sidelines. Maybe he gets a red shirt year this year,

I know that you understand football but please give the constant negativity a break, I find it wearing on my natural positivity. No personal attack intended in my post Capt.

More bumbling stumbling BS from the Captain. Typical over-reaction.

I'm also looking forward to the next few seasons, hoping Mac wins many games while putting up great numbers, and an intense debate - complete with name calling and insults - commences on Patsfans about whether Mac will surpass Brady as an all-time great quarterback.
