I am really surprised how most 53 list have Ebner only making the team as a STer. I think at this point, Ebner would be a competent NFL safety. The reason he doesn't get snaps with the regular D is who is infront of him on the roster. Chung, McCourty, and Harmon ate up almost all the snaps the last 3 years. Ebner has never had a chance to play since his rookie year, when he really was completely raw, though last season he was a regular on certain GL defenses.

Might get some "dislikes" here but I kinda like Gilmore's attitude and irritating the hell out of the WRs. Good indication that he competes like hell and will do the same vs the real enemy on Sundays.

Reminds me of another veteran free agent that Belichick brought in a few years ago.. Rodney...Rodney something......
