Correct

One more thing to note... bonitto started super hot and tailed off big time towards the latter half of season. He was projected to hit 21 sacks and ended up with 14 sacks. And last 4 games of season had just 1 sack and that too against a depleted chargers squad in their last game.

So Denver defense is definitely overrated . They are not that great ...
That seems to be the case of a LOT of speed rushers (under 260) who have had bigger reps at the end of the season than results. Locally, just look at Judon and Landry. Judon ALWAYS raced out to double digit sacks in the first half of the season, then dragged across the finish line gasping for breath. Same with Landry. He had 5 or 6 in the first in the first 10 games and then just one or two coverage sacks over the last half.

I expect Bonito to bring pressure, but unless he gets one of those free runs to the QB, I don't expect him to actually get there.

BTW- what's the wind supposed to be like Tomorrow in Denver. If it isn't too high (under 15mph), I expect May to go over 250 yds.

The only thing that derails this is Maye’s lack of protecting the football. If they dont figure that out Broncos will win the game. If the O line doesnt do a better job than the last two games they will not win this game. I still believe they will.

I made this post last week lol. The parallels to 2001 are strong:

1. 5 or fewer wins prior season, turned around to an AFCCG or better this season
2. 2nd year quarterback having a breakout year
3. Same offensive scheme
4. The divisional round game was a snow game for both teams
5. Both teams involved Mike Vrabel
6. Every week, other fans said "that's cute, but they're not ACTUALLY good... They'll get wrecked by [next opponent]"
7. Both were the 2nd seed

Vrabel and Maye are the approximate ages Bill and Tom were in 2001 too

if Maye plays patiently, we will blow them out. If he wants to take kill shots early, and it leads to turnovers, can become a war of attrition game and nail bitter. Just move the chains Drake.
If he wants to take kill shots early and they score it’s no nail biter.

Just win baby.

That’s not our game. We win because we create explosive plays. If we try to just move the chains we will lose. We tried that last week and it failed miserably and on 3 drives we opened it up and scored TDs.

Yep. Denver’s defense is susceptible to big plays; particularly out of bunch formations. Maye is fearless when it comes to taking shots down the field & he won’t be afraid of targeting Surtain, but Moss is the weak link. Their LBs are weak in coverage as well, and I believe our run game will feast against that small Denver from seven.

We're going to Win.
All this is great... except the ****s that write NOVELS, STOP writing fkn Novels!
I asked Gemini to respond to your concerns...

In the fast-paced ecosystem of the modern internet, it often feels as though every piece of content demands a reaction—a like, a share, or a meticulously crafted rebuttal. However, one of the most powerful tools in a user's digital arsenal is also the simplest: the choice to keep scrolling. Ignoring a post you don't approve of isn't just a passive act; it is a strategic decision to protect your own "digital peace" and deny attention to content you find unhelpful or inflammatory.
From a psychological standpoint, engaging with content that upsets you often triggers a "stress loop." When we stop to argue with a stranger or dissect a post we dislike, our brains release cortisol and adrenaline, keeping us in a state of heightened agitation. By choosing to ignore the post instead, you effectively break that loop before it starts. You preserve your mental energy for topics that actually bring you value, rather than allowing a random algorithm or a provocative headline to dictate your mood for the afternoon.
Furthermore, it is important to remember that on almost every social platform, engagement is the primary currency. Algorithms generally don't distinguish between a "love" and an "angry" react; they simply see activity. When you comment on or share a post to show your disapproval, you are often inadvertently boosting its reach, ensuring that even more people see the very thing you dislike. Silence, conversely, is the only thing the algorithm cannot monetize or amplify. By withholding your engagement, you are essentially "starving" the post of the visibility it needs to survive.
Ultimately, mastering the art of the scroll is a form of digital maturity. It’s an acknowledgment that while you cannot control what others post, you have absolute authority over what you allow into your personal headspace. Treating your attention as a limited, valuable resource allows you to move through online spaces with more intention and less frustration.
Would you like me to draft some polite "canned responses" you can use when you feel the urge to engage but want to gracefully bow out inst
ead?

Interesting that Riley Moss is pretty much the only White CB in forever. Also one of the most flagged CB's - saw a claim that he was second only to our very own DPI offender. Moss obviously is targeted a lot given who plays the other side. Be interesting to see how the officials call this.

I have noticed that Davis seems to step up his play after being called for DPI.
Well, there's Cooper Dejean

I feel more comfortable with the Pats going into this game than I did against the Chargers or Texans. I would have felt that way if they had Nix, because I just do not think their offense is that good. Their schedule was slightly harder than ours and they squeaked out several games in the last qtr.

Their defense can be had. I feel like Houstons defense is better despite the stats, but Denvers OL is significantly better so I am not sure that they will be able to get to the QB very much. The good thing is their offense has been meh while not giving up many sacks.

I said this last week and didn’t think we really took advantage of it but Denver’s pass rush could be an advantage to us. When Maye is flushed out of the pocket he is great at extending the play and making big plays.
It seems like last week the “protect the ball” messaging to him was “don’t leave the pocket”. He looked less willing than ever to climb the pocket it abandon it to avoid the rush. Hopefully they correct that mistake.

As much Ami as there is to knock Nix he was at his best in comeback mode. With out late comebacks they lose a lot of games including last week. They lose that strength with Stidham.

Also not all turnovers are equal there's a benefit to being aggressive for example throwing a 50 yard bomb on 3rd and long that's picked off inside their own 10 isn't the same as being strip sacked inside your own 20 yard line.

It's easy to say we can't turn the ball over what we really have to avoid the brutal game changing turnover that either scores for them or sets them up on a short field, a turnover going for a kill shot in a certain situation is basically a punt.

BTW- I would like to file this with my mediot gripes of the week.

I have YET to hear or see any mediot who have taunted us with the "weakest schedule" trope this entire ****ing season, mention, even ONCE, that Dever had the SECOND weakest schedule this season. (and that includes getting a week off in the playoffs) I mean you'd think one of our guys would have at least mentioned it in passing. Literally, it was only a few percentage points difference.

I'm still holding out hope that one of the pre-game shows might mention it, or one our guys will bring it up when some National guy inevitably brings it up over the next 22 hours. Hoping sure, but definitely not expecting any media fairness.
