What about the switch-hitters????

Confused ... unquestionably confused or over-sexed.

Do sheep count?

If a man loves women & sheep

or men & sheep

or just sheep

or all 3 ... is that a Tri-Hitter?

Are heterosexuals born or created?

Are dogs and other animals that exhibit same sex behavior, born or created?

Where's the choice for "a combination of genetic and hormonal factors and environment?"

C. They hate the Colts and are doing it to piss Tony Dungy off.

They're all just looking to get their rocks off, I slept in a barn once for a month, the only other thing in the barn that moved was a chicken, after a week went by I was trying to figure out a way to bang the chicken, but first I had to catch it.

was it a boy chicken or a girl chicken?

"..theres the rooster, the hen, and the chicken. the rooster goes with the chicken. who's having sex with the hen?"

Boy or Girl Chicken:
I don't know, I couldn't catch it.

Thank God for lesbians and all their porno sites.

I don't know, but they're all Bills fans.

The origin of sex isn't a question that can easily be answered on a message board, but in fact there have been studies into it. I'll give a brief rundown of how and why sex evolved just in case anyone is interested.

First of all, why is sex even needed? Some organisms are asexual, while others only have one sex. They basically clone themselves. There are some reasons as to why sex would have evolved in the first place. First of all, sex can create genetic variation. This can aid in the passing on of positive traits, or the removal of negative traits. Second, sex helps with DNA repair. Third, sex can cause what is known as hybrid vigor, which adds increased characteristics in hybrids that can strengthen a species. And finally, sex allows different genes to be swapped which aids in the fighting of disease and parasites. This is known as the Red Queen hypothesis//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Queen
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Queen

. These are just some of the possible reasons as to why sex is beneficial and would have been selected for.

If we look at sexual reproduction, there are many options.

1. Gametes may be different, like sperm and eggs, or the same.
2. Adults may produce both sperm and eggs, or just one.
3. If an organism can produce both sperm and eggs, it may or may not be able to fertilize itself.
4. Species may have more than just two genders.

5. Males and females might be the same or different.
6. The males and females may or may not have different genitalia.

The gay people I know well enough to feel comfortable talking about this with all say the same exact thing... They were born gay. I have no reason to doubt them on it.

I'm fairly certain they're born.

But I'm also fairly certain they evolved

Now, you can call this counterintuitive, but then again, why would God create them? Lots of evolutionary purposes come to mind for the tendency to exist -- population pressures and group survival/cohesiveness are obvious choices -- but no real creationist purpose for homosexuality leaps to mind.

I don't think the question matters. The fact is that they exist, they aren't harming anyone and they deserve to be treated equally.

Suppose it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's 100% genetic. Is that going to alleviate bigotry and discrimination? No. People who hate will hate regardless.

Suppose it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is 100% environmental. Does that make hating them and discriminating against them ok? Absolutely not.

Since we don't put as much effort into trying to find out whether other types of people are born or created I see no reason to hold this question up as the ultimate way of validating or invalidating them as human beings.

Personally, as someone pointed out earlier in this thread, it is most likely a mix of genetic and hormonal factors that are too complex and meaningless to worry about.

I think it has to do with their mother breast feeding them or not.

That and their mental makeup and people that they surround themselves with.

They were born that way, they have never done anything to me or anybody in my family, give them their rights and have them obey all the laws the rest of our society lives by, there are far worse human beings prowling around our country than Gay's.

The people that should be treated like the Homosexual was treated years ago, the people that should be thrown off bridges, beat up in our city parks, tied to fences and murdered (Shepard) the people that should not have any rights whatsoever are the scummy swaggering vicious murdering American Gang Bangers who kill each other and little old ladys who get in their line of fire, they are filthy useless slimey scumsucking savages.

The National Guard should patrol the streets of California and Shoot On Sight any and every Crip or Blood they come in contact with, they should "Shoot To Kill"
