I'd love to hear how your experience was. How'd you like Boston & what did you think of Gillette and how were the fans around you?

Hopefully, there's still some of you left posting here.

There were barely any Chargers fans there.

In fact, I've never been to a game with so few fans of the opposition.

And yet I sat next to a Chargers fan in section 127.

The first thing he said to me was, is everyone going to be standing the entire game?

He left at the start of the 3rd quarter because of the cold.

It really wasn't that bad at all in the stands however.

I can't believe he left...you've got to be kidding!

what a waste of a ticket

I thought there were more Chargers fans at the AFC championship game than there were Jaguar fans at the divisional playoff game. I didn't see any Jaguar fans in my section, but there were a few very scattered Charger fans.

I saw about 20-25 fans between the lower and upper levels. Turnout was pretty low but I didn't expect much. SD actually had more fans than the Redskins when they came to Gillette this year.

There weren't a lot of Chargers fans. There were some though. I only saw two obnoxious teenage kids who were mocking people before the game started. By the 4th quarter, they were in shock.

Most were fine. Did everyone see that ******ed charger super hero in the end zone? What a dope!!!!!

I was coming back from a business trip out West on Friday night and there were at least 10 Chargers fans going to the game on my plane. The pilot greeted everyone on the plane by playing the Patriots undefeated song over the PA once everyone was seated.

Didn't go to the game but have been to Boston on many occasions. I'm a BoSox fan and have been to the monster plenty of times and loved it. Then again, I'm a fan. In fact I lived in Lawrence back in the day so I guess I'm biased. The last time I was in Boston there was a TON of construction widening the roads or some BS like that but other than the traffic and the weather it's one of my fav cities to visit. Not only that but the surrounding cities and the histories involving the city makes Mass a really fun place to visit. Salem was AWESOME when I went there the last. But I would have loved to go to the Pat/Charger game. I'm not a obnoxious fan at all. In fact, I go as far as buying a round of brews for the people around me so they don't get any ideas that I'm going to try to ruin the game for them or anything. It's just so friggin expensive to travel cross country and to buy tickets to go to a football game.

I saw a few Chargers fans at the game including a couple hot San Diego chicks, not that many though. It was a long flight to go see LT sit on the bench.

I know one thing when I went to Tampa airport to catch my flight on Southwest Sunday morning half the flight was Pats fans going up for the game. It was like we had our own charter.

That's just because nobody from Jacksonville could afford a ticket to Boston.

Totally off topic, but have you tried Jet Blue. It's all I will fly now. So much cheaper and nicer. We fly into Long Beach every year and it is much cheaper than LAX or John Wayne and much easier. I think they fly into San Diego now.

I usually fly from Ontario International. I'm about an hour and a half north from SD so it's just much easier for me. I absolutely HATE LAX though. But Southwest is prominent in Ontario

I lived in San Dogg for a year. Almost all the chicks there are hot.

Wouldn't Long Beach be feasible? I'm telling you, easiest place to fly to and from. You can get there 20 mins before your flight and have 10 to spare. I love it. Plus.....TV the whole flight!

There were four charger fans sitting near me. They were treated very respectfully. They had a great time. The woman even said she loved the stadium and could not believe how well she was treated by Patriots fans.

Jacksonville is an expansion team. It is pretty easy to get tickets to their home games. You don't have people who have dreamed their whole lives of seeing a Jax playoff game live.

Teams with deeper histories have more fans that are willing to spend their time and money to travel to away games.

Also, there are transplants to NE who are Charger fans from when they were kids. Jax hasn't been around long enough to have many of those.
