They've hitched their wagons to AJB and Doubs. That's the direction the team has gone and people don't need to agree with it but they do need to accept it. Boutte is redundant in this offense and they'll need to make a decision on Pop.

Have you guys looked at the WR market? The top players are pulling down $45m now. Heck, players like Christian Kirk got $20m 6 years ago for those numbers. We're way past that now. Hell, Algholor got $12m. Put it this way, Josh Palmer makes $10m for the Bills. He's a 500 yd guy.

Correct. Salaries have gone up across the board.

IMO Boutte doesn't quite have the career numbers or track record as the guys you mention to warrant $10m AAV but who knows.

Kraft is cheap, look at the teams actual cash spending, near or at the bottom of the league.

Gonzo I’m guessing will request a trade before the start of the season if a deal isn’t struck.

This is classic Kraft, team drafts develops a player into a stud, when it comes time to pay up team nickels and dimes the player and the relationship goes sour.

It’s about the guaranteed money, the up front money that players are adamant about getting , Krafts comments on making him the highest paid corner don’t mean nothing on the surface, you or I or anyone else for that matter don’t know the details when it comes to the numbers.

There is no doubt in my mind a deal will be done soon. These type of deals are not just about money and guarantee's.
The language in between all of that needs to be negotiated. He will be with us for awhile
