Who said John Lynch was a liar, not me.
BB considered trading Brady and how close he came is impossible to know. That's been my point the whole time.

House proved it. House was part of the decision making for BB as he analyzed whether to trade Brady or not.
You are reading into things that aren't there.

Covering all his bases is NOT intent to trade.

It's called preparation.

When offered a trade, you don't shut down the entire communication with someone (Lynch). AND, months later, you also don't hang up the phone and offer your backup instead.

Never said he intended to trade Brady.
I said there were reports at the time that said he wanted to.
I believed he thought about trading Brady and gave it serious consideration which House confirmed.
That's it.

I don't think that's the conversation between him and House.

I think he's saying tell me why you believe Brady's arm will stay live until 45. "Why shouldn't I trade him now?" is simply Belichick gathering information.

It's the same as devil's advocacy. Whereas you think it shows actual intent.

I don't care either way about the relationships or the decisions from nearly a decade ago. It was the best 20 year run in NYFL history.

I also don't care for any HOF. Never really have.

When it comes to The Brady and Bill Show though, I'm as happy as a pig in slop. Maybe even happier. I never thought I'd see any team come close to the success of The Russ and Red Show, but they sure as hell did.

And now it's the Maye and Mike Show. We have one of the best, youngest QBs and the most popular HC in the game, and we could be partying hardy in a few days. Wow!

I'm getting that grin again.

John Lynch says he asked about Brady and was laughed at.
That is a fact. That proves he was not going to trade Brady.

lol you think Belichick let Tom House decide.

You are basically a flat earther.

People who think that means he was consulting Tom House on roster decisions have never had an actual conversation with a real human.

100%.

It amazing that we had the greatest run in the history of the sport and people are lining up to **** on one contributor or another.
Gets and Browns fans don’t talk this badly (or often) about their failed coaches, players and QBs.

In April, same time he said 100% not trading Jimmy G. So it proves he wasn't trading Jimmy G also?

Your reading comprehension is so bad. Never said that about Tom House but since you refuse to objectively look at anything that doesn't fit your pre-conceived opinion I'd see why you'd just make that up. Can't argue with my facts just make up lies and argue against them. I know you'll respond with a stupid, non-fact based post AGAIN because you feel you need the last word, so I'll let you have the last word, no use having a discussion with a closed-minded person.

Down the Ring 6 rabbit hole...again. My bad on that one, I know better LOL. I was a bit bored, so I forgive myself. Over and Out.

I don't have the OCD/ADD to pull off an Andy debate...but I can come close.

I very much appreciate Roger Craig. 3X SB champion. 1000/1000 club. Consistent production in a passing offense. I remember him at Nebraska until Mike Rozier took his job. He was excellent.

I just struggle with him as a HoFer. I don't have anything against him. Maybe i'll come around...
I'm ok with him being in now, and I am ok saying Faulk was better.

I truly don't understand how the Browns haven't been able to figure it out

When is Jerod Mayo going in the HOF?
Several answers to this:

1) When someone gives him a bus ticket to Canton, Ohio.
2) He's tried his best to get into Canton, but he always ends up making a perfect form-tackle 5 yards downfield from the Hall.
3) Once you get in between those white lines, there's nothing he can do anyway.
4) He was well on his way, until a rookie Jamie Collins took his spot.

I grew up a Browns fan and I still follow them (for now). It’s pretty obvious ownership has been a huge problem going back to the 90s. Haslam meddles with the team at an operational level and has forced a number of bad decisions on the team. He, and the most recent owners, have also hired amazingly bad GMs, some of which were never even qualified to do the job. I don’t see them ever getting their act together under Haslam.

Yeah I hear you but even the Jete had a 2 year nice run under Footsie Rexy and I feel the Jete ownership is worse lol

It's close, but the Jets at least have modern facilities - and Woody Johnson never stepped in to give Dashaun Watson a fully-guaranteed contract. As poorly run as that organization is, they've at least ********-lucked their way into picks and cap space.

The Browns didn't trade Myles Garrett when they should have, and will be paying Watson for another two years to sit at home.

He didn’t trade Jimmy G until the trade deadline. Clearly because he valued him as injury insurance.

Yes you did. You said he asked Tom House of he should trade Brady as if it were a literal thing.

You have no facts. None at all.

You are a flat earther.

Good choice to just take the L and pretend it’s something else.

Flat Earther 101.

It’s close, but the Browns take it on their more spectacular failures.

They never would have traded Garrett.

All four of them immediately look down when Belichick appears on the screen lol.

Honestly, that's about as good of a player group as they've had in a while. The only one I'm even somewhat iffy on is Brees, but even then he passes the 'Is he a Hall of Famer? *pause* Yes." test, which should be the test of any candidate.

(IMO, Hall of Famers should only be hall of famers if you can immediately say 'Yes', or say 'Yes' after one brief pause)
