OT: Jags @ Steelers Game Thread

I'm glad the 2 games today at least ended up being games and had soem competition. I didn't really care who won although I do like seeing the Squealers get thier hearts ripped out. I don't care who the Patriots play. IMO, if you feel the Patriots are the best team in the league, it doesn't matter who they play.

We have played lousy games several times this year and each time we have one even if it was a nail biter. We have had two weeks to prepare and I am sure that the Pats will play to the best of their ability. If they do, whoever they face is in for whipping.

Garrard already has two of the worst interceptions in playoff history, I'm guessing.

Simply awful, awful throws right into coverage.

Despite the bad game, Ben is a classy guy. I remember he had kind words for Brady at the end of the game this year and to stick around to congratulate Garrard is class.

He is better than Palmer, and is the 3rd best QB in the game.

That's cause he's a friggin' loser. Worthless sack of crap ruined my predictions single-handedly. Any notion that he is a great or clutch quarterback needs to be thrown out the window immediately, if anyone was actually in possession of such a belief. Still, we're going to friggin' kill the Jaguars.

He's a warrior though. Look at all the comebacks and almost comebacks he's engineered. He's almost Bradyesque...although Brady doesn't also personally engineer the mile deep holes Ben creates almost single handedly to attempt to dig himself out of...

4 observations:

- del rio is an idiot, most stupid since mike tice. terrible clock management at end challenging incompletion call and not running play into 2 min warning
- garrard is the whole team. wins in spite of del rio's incompetence
- ben fumbling at the end didn't give ward chance to run down field, grab DBs face mask and pretend he'd been interferred with
- we'll whip them next week. even though garrard is good no way he can compensate for del rio's incompetence relative to bellichik. stupid coaches do not beat BB (see marty schottenheimer)

No, because it's PLAYOFF TIME. Things will be different in the playoffs. BB always uses things in the Playoffs that he doesn't use during the regular season. It won't be pretty but I have confidence that our guys can do a much better job than the Steelers did tonight.
