He wasn’t #3.

This WR room defies rankings like #1 etc. Which is good, because that whole way of thinking is a construct of the fantasy football, digital dopamine addiction, instant gratification, low attention span, celebrity diva culture. It has no bearing on football.

As predicted, 98% of the segment slamming CJ Stroud, about 2% giving props to ne.

Houston could have won with 31 other qbs, and someone muttered jarret stidham . Keep it going ESPN!

He played the most snaps

National media is really twisting themselves into giant pretzels convincing themselves that there's no real drop off from Nix to Stidham. David Carr was on nfl Network last night saying nix led the league yards left on the field, whatever stat that is. And stidham won't always look for checkdowns.
I would have loved to hear what the media would say about the Patriots if they had a backup qb back playing

Without Nix you’ve got a chance. With Nix, not happening. Either way, all the pressure is on Maye to beat Stidham otherwise…. Colossally embarrassing.
Hey you do but you ain't

Embarrassing for who? Certainly not this team. You? Other fans? That's just sad.

MVP’s don’t fumble a football 3 times in 10 minutes.

How about MVPs who fumble for a safety, throw an INT, throw a pick six, and then turn it over on downs, all before halftime? By the way, you're kicked from the thread too. Please stop trolling our board or you will be removed from the forum.

this and last years KC-PHI SB are the greatest hate watches ever

"Man, the Patriots get SO lucky! Blah blah blah!"

You know who could have gotten the #2 seed and had our path if they'd beaten Atlanta and/or Miami and/or Houston and/or Phily and/or Us the first game?

The Bills.

You know who had two INTs and two lost fumbles yesterday?
Josh Allen.

You know who said he let his team down yesterday?
Josh Allen.

You know who DID let his team down yesterday?
Josh Allen.

You know who's using one controversial OT call to cover up that Josh Allen let down his team?
Sean McDermott.

Lol speaking of McDermott, he just got fired...

I’d take Nix 100 times over maye.
I see what this guy's trying to do. He knows its game over for the Broncos season. So he's increasing his trolling to max capacity hoping to get banned so he has an excuse not to face the music next week. We won't oblige. But its OK you can always take the GreenCow route and vanish once your team loses

You've been back-pedaling and trying to defend your pathetic stance since your stupidity got called out by numerous people of numerous religious backgrounds.

We get it. YOU can't handle being wrong. You can't handle that your opinion on the matter if garbage. You can't comprehend that, no matter how you want to spin it, you were attacking how he chooses to practice his religion. And, NO. You can't separate the Religion out of it. If Stroud was going out and partying with the guys, that would be an entirely different story. But you don't seem to understand that.
I do understand the difference you are trying to articulate. I simply do not agree with it.

You can throw in as many insults as you want, it will not change my mind.

Not to a religious person, they aren't. Again, this is why you were "attacked". Because you make stupid statements that show your ignorance of the situation.
For a religious person, you seem to carry a lot of hate in you. How do you square that? Fascinating!

Quick though on the up coming game and maybe what is to come.

Playing LAC and HOU will have prepared this offense for Denver... it will be tough, but they will be battled hardened. Probably mistakes will happen again, cause Denver does have a really good D even if it isn't all pretty. It probably won't be.

And if they get by Denver, when they play Seattle's D (And you know it is going to be them) they will have played 3 of the other top 5 or so Best Ds in the NFL.

What i like about these next 2 games (assuming they get to play both) is the goal is the same... Score more than 20 and hold on D.
I feel confident in the OLs abilities to hold up against Denvers edge rushers.. benitto and Cooper.. Campbell has gotten good work the last 2 games going against some premium pass rushers.. Denver LBs are small and they are predicated off speed.. attack Riley moss on the outside and Henry should be able to make plays again Hufanga the safety.

On defense Stidham hasn't played any meaningful snaps since 2023.. no matter how much Payton tries to prop him up he's a backup for a reason.. rattle him into mistakes.. Sutland is there top WR gonzo should be able to limit him.. it's going to come down to the defenses again.

I know that we live in an era where facts and reality play no role in anything but this pretense that Stidham has done anything in this league is bordering on lunacy.

In this thread alone, he has been compared to Brady in 2001, to Foles, to Jameis Winston, it's becoming so preposterous, i'm expecting people to start inventing narratives that the only reason he didn't start in New England was that Brady was the GOAT therefore Stidham is the second best QB in history.

In reality,

Bo Nix has a regular season record of 24-10, including 14-3 this year. The Broncos had 7 losing seasons in a row prior to drafting him and suddenly they make it to the playoffs in his first year, and get the #1 seed in his second. In two seasons, he has thrown for 7800 yards, 54 TD's to 23 INT, he has rushed for 800 yards with 9 rushing touchdowns. He has 10 game winning drives and another one in his second playoff game outplaying the supposed best QB in the league Josh Allen.

Is Bo Nix the only reason for their turnaround? No, but if you don't think he has been a big part of it, that is such an absurd opinion, that it warrants no response.

On the other hand, Stidham has been in this league for 7 years, no team has ever given him a starter role, he has a career record of 1-3, with 8 TD'S and 8 INT.

If you think those two players are interchangeable, there's absolutely no point in discussing anything, it's arguing in bad faith.

There's a vast gulf between taking the Broncos seriously because they still have a great coach and a really good defense, and acknowledging there's a massive difference between a starter that has led his team to the number 1 seed, with really good stats and 8 winning drives this year and a jag that's been in the league for 7 years and his main contribution has been holding the tablet for the starting QB.

Jesus man just shut up. You don’t get it, that’s fine, it’s not what I do either, but I 100% understand why the do it. You shouldn’t be so racist.
What I said is not racist, though, unless you are accusing me of saying what I did because of Stroud's skin colour?

It would be difficult to find someone who is more anti-religion than me, but you are wrong on that one.

It is something that happens after every game. Just let people be, they are not being Tim Tebow about it, they are doing their thing and leave.
I genuinely was not even thinking of religion when I made that comment. I have no problem with prayer circles or any person choosing to be religious. That is their deal.

Just amazing to see the fire my commented created when all I tried to say was Stroud is not being competitive enough for my liking.

Maye has to figure this out. I was thinking he would be hyper focused on protecting the ball this week and he wasn’t, so he’s got to work on that.

But Hollins coming back should help, and I think two games of this should straighten him out. I’m feeling good
What’s to figure out? He got hit while throwing and had the ball punched out on a rare designed run (or broken play, hard to tell).
He can’t pass block for himself.
