I keep my bets

I don't see how Andy's opinion matters.

In a general sense I agree, as he himself has no honor Andy's opinions aren't worth spit.
In this instance though, Sam feels honor bound by a bet that only Andy can absolve him of paying. Theirs are the only opinions that really matter in this

Unwarranted negativity can be frustrating. It also keeps things interesting around here. If we remove one person or viewpoint, don’t be surprised if we lose others too. Careful what you wish for I guess.
We aren’t removing someone’s viewpoint. They were called out for being overly negative and responded with “if I am wrong I’ll leave the board”
He chose the bet.

Maybe @Ian 's opinion matters? He owns the messageboard so he sets the rules. Why do you ignore Ian? Ignoring Ian does not seem very honorable.

If you really think you display a higher degree of character and integrity on this forum than me, put it to a vote.
There are no running jokes about getting into exchanges with me, but several with you.
It's quite evident in this thread alone the fellow posters feel you have little if any integrity and character.
Telling someone not to honor a bet shows integrity and character. End of story.

A few things:

- Betting to leave the board is just silly and shouldn't be something people should do. I don't think Sam should have to leave and there is no way to enforce this anyway.
- Ian, provides this board for everyone. People who are homers. People who are haters or doomsayers and all in between. I don't think people should decide what content they feel is what should be on this board or not. If someone wants to come here and say the Patriots suck and they are frauds or whatever, they have a right. Ian has provided everyone tools to ignore people who post content you do not like. If Sam wants to post negative content about the Pats, he has every right as Andy has to post homer content. If they don't like each other comments, they can put each other on ignore.
He gave up that right when he was challenged to stop being negative of the Patriots made the playoffs and committed to never posting again if they do.

A bet with you, 100%
Just read this thread and tell me what the popular opinion of you is on the forum.

And just like that we are no longer amicable. You can piss up a rope with impugning my sense of honor. Ian can boot any of us whenever he pleases but he can't waive a magic wand and change what any of us feel is right or wrong. For the record, Ian did not enforce any consequences on Triumph for not honoring his bet with Lancerman in spite of Ian publicly saying there would be consequences.

I am not impugning anyone or anything. Simply asking questions for a different viewpoint.

Your passive aggressive BS is genuinely tiresome at times

There is nothing passive aggressive here. We simply disagree.

My expressed opinions should be taken very lightly as they are of marginal value.

I don’t care. You are obsessed with me.
You showed your character by saying you wouldn’t honor a bet the he made voluntarily of his own choice because you think that since you don’t like me integrity doesn’t matter.

There is an old saying. Integrity is what you do when no one is looking.

You support welching even when it’s out in the open. There is really nothing else to say. This explains a lot about you.

It's slightly hypocritical of someone who wasn't truthful about acknowledging his previous account to be preaching about integrity and character, no?
Not if you know the whole story which we won’t be getting into for the 50th time here.

After last game of the season, I will not post on this board again.

For those here who do not get personal and welcome all viewpoints, thank you for the experience

Sam

Lets make that bet!!!
If you win I will leave the board forever

If I win you must state on this board that I have better judgment than you
Nobody cares if you made this bet. This is a silly message board. Just take your lumps and move on, none of this matters

More BS although we've found common ground at least, your expressed opinions are most decidedly of marginal value
