Actually, being a man of honor Sam has no choice. Unless someone who has previously shown they are honor challenged relents and shows some grace, Sam leaving is outside his control. Ironic that

I don’t disagree on the notion that an adult should keep his bet. You won and to the winner goes the spoils. With that said, have mercy on him and be the bigger man. He lost the bet and posting this thread while melodramatic and imo a bit childish, shows he has good intentions. Let the bet go and tell him to grow a pair

Imo to settle the score he should either like somebody else said donate to a charity of Andy’s choosing or if Andy wants to be selfish but I would absolve him of doing it, make him buy him a 25 dollar gift card somewhere.

No, it’s was not an emotional bet. It was a bet made after many interactions, and literally made because I feel the board it a better place without him. It has nothing to do with censoring opinions, it has everything to do with censoring attitudes, and contribution or detracting from the board.

It is ironic that the bet was made with someone who has proven to be more than a little honor 'challenged' but nonetheless a bet is a bet. Only Andy can absolve Sam of the obligation. In a further irony, it gives the forum's cancer a chance to be gracious. Again, not holding my breath

Unwarranted negativity can be frustrating. It also keeps things interesting around here. If we remove one person or viewpoint, don’t be surprised if we lose others too. Careful what you wish for I guess.

There are no running jokes about getting into exchanges with me, but several with you.
