That facts were released, all of it. Nothing else remains. Diggs team wanted police report not released because it had personal info including his phone number, address and other details the public had no business knowing. The report now seems to have been deleted from the internet and on one wants to repost it. There is no evidence, there is clear motive for one side and it is not Diggs. I can win this case.

I don’t know. Jurors need to see and hear more than just one side of a story. If she has an eyewitness or photos/medical report of injuries that can be enough, but don’t think she has that.

My biggest concern is if this happened on the 2nd why wait two weeks to file the report. I mean she could have been in shock on the 2nd and gave it a day or so to think about and talk with family/friends, two weeks seems like a long time. I would like to learn more about any conversations between parties from the 2nd to the 16th.

Innocent until proven guilty. There have been plenty of cases where athletes are targeted or situations get exaggerated because of the potential for a payout, so I hope this turns out not to be true.

I also hope the Patriots did their own due diligence before publicly stating that they stand behind Diggs.

AB was really crazy though.
The fact she waited 2 weeks and didn't think to take photos of the "redness on her chest" leaves zero evidence and leaves a 100% he said/she said. Which is why in the end she just gets paid and signs a confidentiality.

He was/is crazy, but that doesn't mean he did what he was accused of. That's the problem I have with this "me too" movement.

Not sure you are right about his contract. Right now, he has the 13th highest cap hit for a WR in 2026. That isn't overpaying for a guy who is coming off a 1,000 yard season in a year he was returning from an ACL tear and playing his best football at the end of the season.

Assuming he isn't found guilty, the Pats could redo his deal just to get his cap # down to get more flexibility, but his contract is reasonable next year. It is a lot of base salary ($20 million), but the cap hit is fine for his production.

This reeks of a money grab. The story happened 2 weeks earlier, why wait 2 weeks? The story makes no sense. Why would he hit her? Why would he choke her with the crook of his arm, then just stop and say “thought so”?
Why is there no proof of injury and if he smacked her across the face why would she say her chest was red but nothing about her face?

AB is a cautionary tale for everyone.

And so is Irving Fryar. He got himself jailed years after he retired.

Part of it is, we're all getting older. Our way of living and coping when we were younger don't work anymore. We each have to grow, learn and change.

My observation is, for star NFL wide receivers, it's harder for them than most other people. I think Chris Carter was a good egg for proactively reaching out to help them. We look and feel like we can't be compassionate because of all they're being paid, but it's not about the money.
