So is his situation Kafka-esque?Whenever they cut to Kafka, it looked like he just didn't understand what sport was being played.

Couldn't believe Marriota had them on the ropes.Broncos nearly choking against the Commanders has you on edge, huh?
Absolutely agree steve.. it's just such a stark difference of how things went the last few seasons in contrast to this season.. they look sharp, focused, detailed, organized, hungry and motivated..Yeah with the reports of the torn labrum last year... maybe he's not as bad as we thought, plus he's got proper coaching now.
I never want to try to guess intent, because we don't know what's in a player's mind. But to me that should be a penalty. Reminds me of Stevan Ridley getting hit helmet to helmet in one of the Ravens playoff games we lost here. I think the year they beat SF in the Harbaugh Bowl.
But, I'm also Canadian so I'm a giant wuss unless it's wartime.
Great points Tommy.. they went to OT against Mariota.. had Daniels played Washington likely wins..Broncos nearly choking against the Commanders has you on edge, huh?
I don't think he meant to hit him helmet to helmet, but I also think that shouldn't matter. I mean how many times does someone rough the kicker/punter and actually mean to do it?IMO, it wasn't targeting (Elliss isn't even looking at him) so no penalty, and helmet to helmet is almost never called after initial contact because what happens after that is completely unpredictable.
But as this is the NFL, I fully expect Elliss to be fined substantially.
I don't think we will ever fully know how bad it was, but I'm guessing that entire staff was lost from the jump.Absolutely agree steve.. it's just such a stark difference of how things went the last few seasons in contrast to this season.. they look sharp, focused, detailed, organized, hungry and motivated..
Lowe provided he continues to play well can sure himself a decent contract here backing up Campbell and he also can play on the right as well?
During live broadcast it seemed to me he said WTF but I'm not a licensed lip readerI found it interesting during the game when they showed the side by side comparison of Dart and Maye. Dart is the total opposite of Maye and strikes me as a massive D-bag. That close up of him when he said "OMG" when their kicker was defeated by the earth. You have never remotely seen anything like that from Maye. Maye is the absolute complete package in what this team needed. You can teach players to improve their game but you cant teach them how to be a good leader or just a good dude. When the time comes they just need to hand him a blank check and tell him to fill in the numbers.
Here it is:
Good Morning Football stated today that the Pats have such a comfortable lead in the AFC East that if the Pats lose to the Bills and Ravens they will still be leading the division.I get that. It's still a joke that a team leading the league with 11 wins hasn't clinched. I get all the scenarios, ect.. however it still asinine. And to your point they are division leader. Just my opinion..
Best part of butt fumble was PAts put up 35 points in 2nd quarter of that game, 21 point in less than a minute,83 yd pass to Vereen, butt fumble and returner fumbled ensuing kickoff into Edelman's hand returned for another TD.....Among all of the many blessings we’ve enjoyed as Pats fans in this millennium, let’s not forget the chance to watch the butt fumble, the Indy snap-without-blockers and the toe stub live. A parade of immortal fails.
I still feel the Bills will be the toughest challenge left for us.. Josh Allen is still Josh Allen.. can we beat them again absolutely.. they are essentially playing every game as if it's a playoff game.. Lamar doesn't look right..I think he's playing hurt..Good Morning Football stated today that the Pats have such a comfortable lead in the AFC East that if the Pats lose to the Bills and Ravens they will still be leading the division.
Watched it several times. It is " Oh my God". Dude is straight class.During live broadcast it seemed to me he said WTF but I'm not a licensed lip reader
We need to get jomboy on this
I spent the morning looking up the rule. What happened on the Hunter Henry TD that was called back? The stadium replays didn't seem to show any weird shift and I think they called it on a lineman. I didn't think lineman could shift.
I think this is kind of where the NFL is in a nutshell. They want to find ways to minimize injury, but don't know how to do it within the rules so they'll do it through poorly explained fines, instead.IMO, it wasn't targeting (Elliss isn't even looking at him) so no penalty, and helmet to helmet is almost never called after initial contact because what happens after that is completely unpredictable.
But as this is the NFL, I fully expect Elliss to be fined substantially.
