I've been dealin with some health issues so I missed the entire first quarter and didn't get to see much of the game last night, any chance someone could find a clip of it? I saw a pic of his helmet missing paint so I'm assuming it was pretty bad.
Here it is:

Then why the heck did their coach call all 3 time outs to get the ball back with under 5 minutes and down 2 scores (and soon to be 3 scores)?

I've just noticed that Treveyon Henderson has the highest average yards after contact stat amongst rookie RBs that have significant attempts. He's just ahead of Omarion Hampton and then there's a bit of a gap to Quinshon Judkins in third. He's also joint 2nd in yards per attempt behind Monangai.

It happens, seen it a lot. its why some play everyone at the end of the season rather than rest their players.

Id like to see Chism in there as a welker/edelman type chain mover.
I like Chism and think he can be good, but I don't know if it will happen here. I liked Boutte and don't want to lose him. Douglas has a role and makes big plays; Diggs is mister dependable and surprisingly a good leader. Williams is emerging. And the big surprise for me, I really like Max. Will all those guys be back? Maybe, and we will add someone decent probably from the draft. So, I just don't see how he fits.

Here it is:

I never want to try to guess intent, because we don't know what's in a player's mind. But to me that should be a penalty. Reminds me of Stevan Ridley getting hit helmet to helmet in one of the Ravens playoff games we lost here. I think the year they beat SF in the Harbaugh Bowl.

But, I'm also Canadian so I'm a giant wuss unless it's wartime.

That was the hit of nightmares. Harbaugh coming out on the field to argue what happened to the ball while there is a guy lying on the ground clearly injured was so ****ing gross.

Agreed. I believe they are still going to be aggressive in FA/Draft and add a proven player to mix in with the current group we have.. no matter how the season ends the NE patiots are a destination again. Chism is a very likable player.. but to your point his potential reaching may/may not be in NE?

On another note.. how about vederian lowe.. not once an utter of his name... impressive..
@ Huckleberry

For some reason I see your responses to me I just can't seem to reply..

Was an established runner, fair according to the rules.

Yep, the protections are from leading with the helmet, and horseshoe tackles, other than that they are pretty much fair game

I had a blast last night. I was invited to the top of the lighthouse for the ringing of the bell by Willie. What a view up there!

Good to see the defense step up for the first series. I was beginning to think that this trend of "letting" the other team score on their first possession was going continue. Glad I was wrong. I do think that the Giants second score was on the Patriots playing a "prevent defense". I hate when teams appear to do this. Yeah they ran a bunch of time off the clock but it killed the momentum.

Loved that hit by Ellis. It was obvious that Dart was gliding for a first down. Really happy to see the refs call it correctly. I would be even happier to see them allow this type of hit on a Mahomes run... maybe even an Allen run too. The next thing the NFL needs to do is make it a penalty for a QB to fake a slide and then continuing to run - an Allen specialty.

What happened on the Hunter Henry TD that was called back? The stadium replays didn't seem to show any weird shift and I think they called it on a lineman. I didn't think lineman could shift.

At some point, we need to just accept this team is ****ing good.
I do wonder what it will take for some of you people.

Even after they beat Buffalo (again), I guarantee there will be a 'We have no chance against the Ravens' contingent.
Just win (the buffalo game) Baby.

Yeah with the reports of the torn labrum last year... maybe he's not as bad as we thought, plus he's got proper coaching now.
