Show and tell time... Is Kyle Williams this year's Slow Polk?

True but to me Egbuka was the best receiver in the draft so I would expect him to make an impact right away.
Agreed. If we play man we shut him down. Play zone baker and Egbuka are playing catch all day.

You do realize, don't you, that you do Not have history on your side...?
Are you saying history on this board is not on the side of panic?

Really?

lol.

I have literally bet Kyle Williams Anytime TD scorer almost every week this season on DraftKings lol... it’s bound to happen eventually.
That’s two of us.

Now I can’t skip him because I need that win to recoup my sunk cost.

“He hasn’t earned more opportunities than he’s gotten.”

That’s the short form of “you get your opportunities and then hopefully you make some plays and continue to earn more” when you didn’t make any plays after you got some opportunities.

...Adding also with Boutte likely out although not official yet.. that presence outside the numbers or deep half is missing. Williams skill set provides that.. but as you said it's been pretty bad targeting him. Here's what I'll say.. kf it continues on this way for him..

Wouldn't be the least bit suprised for him to start being inactive and Chism given more opportunities.

I'm off the Chism Trail. He looks slow out there.

Acquiring a vet WR at the deadline, waiving Chism then signing him to the PS if/when he cleared waivers wouldn't have been the worst move in the world either.

KW, I assume got starter reps in practice this week so hopefully he and Maye were able to get on the same page. People seem to not realize that rookies are not necessarily drafted with the intent of starting. I believe that KW was drafted to develop this year and be a guy next year. They had Booty, Pop, Bourne, Diggs and Hollins along with HH and AH.

I did not expect anything from him this year, so anything he can give is gravy. Just my outlook

Nice to see him make a play. Not to be Debbie Downer but that wasn’t really a correction of what’s ailing him. It was a second/third read play where Maye held the ball and Williams just straight line speeded his way past the defender and Maye made a precise throw that the defender took a bad angle on. Still want to see precise route running and timing out of Williams.

But making plays is good and the speed he showed there is one of those physical tools you get excited about because if he can figure it out he’s going to be game changing for this offense. They’re very much missing a player like him who can operate as a third receiver inside or outside so they have flexibility with Diggs.

Polk is another story. He was badly scouted. It was obvious.
Not true at all. Many scouts and coaches were high on Polk. Steve Smith loved him. Pold broke mentally and emotionally and could not recover. You cannot predict that.

Well one of those guys will be Inactive this week possibly; so unleash the Kyle. He's behind both Pop and Boutte which is obvious.
You don't get to cheer for KW with all crap you posted. Shut up already.

I predicted it.

I have the receipts.

I predicted it in January long before the Patriots picked him.

A lot of people I read screamed DANGER DANGER about him.

He was slow in college, was caught from behind on breaks repeatedly. Could not separate in college.

He was excellent and strong on the ball in contested catches, also high-pointing the ball.

But without speed, separation, and size, the things he was good at in college didn't count for much (I posted all this on this board, by the way).
