Pop Douglas lost his uncle on Saturday night -- shot dead -- and then played for the Patriots on Sunday (without, I think, even telling his coach). I hadn't known just how close Pop and Terrell Jennings had been growing up, but clearly TJ also thought of Pop's uncle as if he were a family member (He said: "we called him 'Tiger'").

There’s lots of good stuff in that interview.

Jennings being homeless and sleeping sometimes at POP’s grandma’s house in high school.

Their high school teammates going 2-8 in their junior year, then winning the Florida state championship in their senior year. Almost as good as Patriots going from a four win season to what they’re doing this season.
