I brought up the same use of MJ.
And it’s still a bad idea.
We have been moving the ball pretty well, but you want to put our dynamic punt returner and best slot CB on offense, so he plays all 3 units?
Way too important to his other 2 units, bad idea.

Bills have scored 30+ in 13 of last 14 regular season games that Josh has started dating back to last year. Gotta find a way to keep them under 30 to have a shot. I don't think their defense is great but they do have injuries.

This is my thought as well. I'm nervous about Kincaid against our LBs and wouldn't mind putting Davis on Kincaid in obvious pass situations. Gonzo on Shakir, Marcus on Coleman.
Gonzo on kincaid especially on 3rd down, Davis on Coleman, Marcus on shakir.. going to be a good game for Marty he is fast enough to spy Allen.. defensive line will have to contain cook, LBs can set the edges or will have too.

Its a great idea.

A few plays on offense wont take away from his returns. Playing on defense hasn't.

Who are we sitting down?

We have the 7th ranked passing offense (yds/game) in the league.
Ahead of teams like GB, Det, TB, KC....
Diggs is rounding into form.
I see no reason to put Marcus on O and have him on all 3 units when he's so important on D and returns.

They play a Varsity team this week with an experienced staff and playoff experience. We shall see how they do. I hope they aren't distracted by those awful unis...

Not sure why everyone hates those unis. They look almost angelic. I liked the white raiders unis back in the day as well. Then again,,, i always hated those ugly "powder Blue" unis the chargers sport,,, and everyone loves them. If one wants to talk distracting ugly look to the dingy Lions retro or those god awful bumble bee Steelers unis. Now that I can understand the hate.

Marcus is in line for a contract extension hea a captain an all pro STs returner he's absolutely fine in his role here. I'd hate to expose him to unnecessary offensive snaps. So I agree with you. The drake to Diggs connection is definitely gaining steam.

I don’t want that.
He’s our best punt returner and starting slot CB. No way I want him playing offense too, he’s too important to the other 2 units.
Not even as a decoy? Just imagine the attention he would draw?

IMHO he's too important to use on O period. He already plays D and STs. If we want to use someone with speed as a decoy, flex Henderson out wide.

me neither, just wondering why we are even talking about it.

Seems pretty clear that Pop's role has diminished with the addition of Diggs. I'm hopeful that Kyle Williams can carve out a role soon. His ability to get open quickly should be beneficial in a quick hit slip screen type of play.
