TreVeyon is being brought along slowly, and that is the right way to do it. Detroit did it with Gibbs, and it paid off.
I get the sense that Henderson, Williams and Chism are all being brought along slowly.

My presumption is it's so that they can really learn their roles in terms of pass protection and blocking down-field.

As is often said, Josh's offense is complex and you really need to understand it well and be able to execute it consistently if you want to get on the field.

I get the frustration, and of course my presumption could be wrong and the coaching staff is being too conservative, but I give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don’t watch tv before 8:00 pm unless it’s a really ****ty day and I have everything else I need to done. So I always watch on delay unless it’s a night game. My dog eats 1 1/2 pounds of steak every day ( he has cancer and he wasn’t supposed to make it past February, but I started feeding him steak twice a day, I cook it on an iron skillet and slice it into little pieces and feed them to him one at a time, and he’s still going strong. He eats enough protein for a 250 body builder, and I swear that’s what keeps him going. . I play indoor golf in the winter. After yesterday’s experience I’m not going to bother trying to keep from getting the score, I did everything right and my tv screwed me. I turned it on and BIG WIN IN MIAMI came right up. I’m happy about the win, but I’m very pissed off at my tv.

My only superstition is that I always put my left sock and shoe on first, but that’s just to make sure I don’t forget one.
I just retired
Don’t watch any TV before 7:00 pm
Always keep busy
I do make an exception for the games on Sunday
Your a good man for what you do for your furry buddy

Turns out that going with hi-viz sleeves has its plusses and it's minuses...

I like Austin but he's struggling as a starter so far. I'm expecting this defense to be similar to 2012/2013 where Talib's presence on and off the field made a big difference in their level of play. Gonzalez will allow Davis to be a high end CB2 & Jones/Austin to be matchup dependent CB3s.

I have to agree Rhamondre had himself a very nice game. I was down on him coming into the season but am happy he proved me wrong today. The big thing for me is I would like to see Gibson get more touches, I think he is solid and has a gear that Rhamondre doesnt. I was very happy to see him bring one to the house on the kickoff return. I told my son early in the game the dolphins are making a mistake avoiding Henderson and kicking to Gibson because he can equally hurt a team and he did. Glad to see all three backs getting some play it will pay off down the stretch.

I'll be curious to hear the guy who sits behind me at every game and screams that they need to cut Rhamondre will say this week.

Lol that makes your post even worse. TreVeyon Henderson didn't have a subpar game yesterday. 1) Rhamondre blew up and averaged almost 5 yards a carry, and had 5 receptions for 88 yards. Gibson also delivered. Neither performance means TreVeyon was subpar. They were just better than the rookie in a game, and we won because of it. 2) TreVeyon is being brought along slowly, and that is the right way to do it. Detroit did it with Gibbs, and it paid off.
TreVeyon was awful yesterday. Penalties, protection issues. I love the dude but you are not being honest if you don’t recognize he had a bad game.

Marcus Jones has been outstanding. He runs to the ball on every play and is a very good tackler. He made nice plays yesterday that prevented big gains. My general impression is the guy on the field giving the highest level of effort.

Eliss is bad. Really bad. One the long touchdown run and catch he planted himself at about the 3 yard line to make the tackle and proceeded to whiff. He has some athleticism but lacks a football brain.

Sadly there are 3 Eliss brothers in the NFL ( father is Lions 1st round pick, Luther Eliss) and we have the worst of the 3

Question for you. Where are you getting these stats from?

The reason I ask is that we have allowed a league high 630 passing yards (672 gross before sacks) and this charges only 275 to our corners.
I believe some (pro football reference) sources only count plays where they find one guy totally responsible and many pass completions are not charged to anyone.
I find it hard to believe there are 355 yards charged against S and LB, which would be appalling. So these numbers may be under reporting the problem.

No faith in their Secondary.
Sure, but the big thing is that it meant we were able to create a lot of pressure (and stop the run in the 2nd half) using just the front 4. The defense’s real problems this game were the horrendous tackling across the board but especially with the linebackers, and Austin and Hawkins being exposed. Tua was a savvy enough to take advantage of that much of the game.

I think an even bigger problem than the tackling was receivers (and a punt returner) running through large chunks of open field with no one close enough to even miss a tackle.

He fumbled but otherwise he's been good. I was a doubter. Keep on keepin' on.
Yeah what was up with that fumble? It was like a dude throwing out the first pitch who bounces it after 15 feet in the direction of the in deck circle.
