All QBs miss open receivers. It happened to Maye last week & it'll happen to him again.
QBs aren’t surveying all 5 receivers, they are running progressions. Progression number 5 could be open on every play and never see that ball if 1,2,3 or 4 are open because the QB is not supposed to see him until he finds 1-4 covered.

What is a Hendo? I am an adult and post like it. Either you are a jr high nerd who makes up names and snort giggles at his own creativity that no one else understands because its not even in basic English, or you have the onset of dementia and just assume everyone understands you. So again, what is a Hendo? Why does a poster mention a drug test in relation to your post?
Henderson

Turf toe a tough injury to play with and typically knocks a player out for several games.

Tom Brady never suffered a turf toe injury.
I was being a smart ass.

Henderson

Lol that makes your post even worse. TreVeyon Henderson didn't have a subpar game yesterday. 1) Rhamondre blew up and averaged almost 5 yards a carry, and had 5 receptions for 88 yards. Gibson also delivered. Neither performance means TreVeyon was subpar. They were just better than the rookie in a game, and we won because of it. 2) TreVeyon is being brought along slowly, and that is the right way to do it. Detroit did it with Gibbs, and it paid off.

The penalties & blocking weren’t great yesterday. I’m Henderson’s biggest fan, but it is what it is. Enjoy your day @imahobgoblin

Interesting factoid from today's Athletic: The Patriots topped the 30-point mark for the first time in nearly three years, something that was last accomplished when scoring 38 in a win over the Cleveland Browns in October 2022, when Bailey Zappe was the quarterback.

Yep. 4 takeaways in that game helped for sure. I thought I remembered a couple of short fields. Pats didn't have any short fields yesterday from turnovers.

I have to agree Rhamondre had himself a very nice game. I was down on him coming into the season but am happy he proved me wrong today. The big thing for me is I would like to see Gibson get more touches, I think he is solid and has a gear that Rhamondre doesnt. I was very happy to see him bring one to the house on the kickoff return. I told my son early in the game the dolphins are making a mistake avoiding Henderson and kicking to Gibson because he can equally hurt a team and he did. Glad to see all three backs getting some play it will pay off down the stretch.

Teams should start looking for linebackers and safeties who can manage the kick off. Kickers can't be the last line with the new rules. No reason a good athlete can't put the ball in the kick zone regularly.

Hollins can probably do it barefoot.
