Wonderful video!

THAT is how you do motivational communication.

There are lots of different ways to coach and to lead, but, if you're going to do it Mike Ditka, Dan Campbell, Bill Parcells-style, that is the way to do it. He's a dominant personality, but he makes everyone feel that he is relating to them to as individuals and is desperate for them to succeed. Giving a ball to the kicker ... perfect!

It's Vrabel's team now.

EDIT: I also loved the way he more or less cut Kraft off when Kraft wanted to make a speech and give him a game ball. Vrabel wanted this to be all about the players (and the assistant coaches).

Loved the emotion on their faces, especially Mapu's, and how Schooler was with Borregales

Big win on the road against a team desperate for a win - down our DC and no1 CB.

Drake Maye almost perfect, carried the team... bad week for all his doubters

Drake was good but he was still overthrowing some of his passes. Hooper's first catch would have likely been a TD if it wasn't behind him and high to the outside and Rham's catch was close to a miss if not for great hands on the catch. Calling out bad throws is not "doubting" him, just calling out bad throws. I'm sure what we type here in nothing compared to what he's getting during the film review.

I was happier with his runs this game. Against the Raiders, he seemed tentative when he left the pocket.

The NE defense really stepped up late in the game when they were obviously tired. I got the impression that they physically over powered Miami at that juncture in the game when it mattered most. Miami could have won, but the Pats D crushed their hopes.

The portable NE sun shade may have helped in some small way. Good thinking outside the box by Vrabel.

Vrabel almost beat Gibson to the endzone running down the sideline.

The NE pass D really needs to straighten up. DK Metcalf and the Steelers coming to town after a loss that was partially self inflicted.

The most important part of the Maye completion to Stevenson down the sideline was Maye calm and cool under pressure. He stepped up into the pocket and into his throw delivering a perfect ball to Rham in stride. The NE OL deserves props as well working together as a unit.

We still have not seen a bomb to Diggs yet. Maybe McDaniel's will dial one up in the 1st quarter of the Pittsburgh game.

My condolences to signbabybill, Patsfan2, and Sam, that must have been really tough loss for you guys. But hang in there, they still have 15 more opponents you can cheer **** on.
FIFY

Brady would have played through it.
Turf toe a tough injury to play with and typically knocks a player out for several games.

Tom Brady never suffered a turf toe injury.

You fixed nothing. I am not negative about this team. I am realistic and refuse to post stupid homer stuff that has no basis in reality. I am not sorry that cupcakes cannot handle it.

In a game of timing and sight adjustments, how do you know it's the quarterback and not the receiver.

To offer the counter point, the throw from Hooper came from a long way away while under pressure, and Rham was being covered closely when he made the catch and there wasn't really anywhere else he could have put the ball.

Yet it's amazing how the same guy can be a zero last week and a hero this week in the eyes of the fans. We had threads kick off last week about how terrible his mechanics are and that means he's lazy. We won't see those threads this week, but he's still the same guy he was a week ago.

Last week we had all these posts about how great JJ McCarthy was, how we should have took him in the draft instead, etc. Not gonna see those posts this week, are we?

Fans in general should listen to the advice above: lighten up Francis! There's a lot of football left to play.
