And of course to me Polk looked about the slowest on this drill getting moving in the other direction. Living up to that name I see......"Slow Polk"

Mack Hollins where are you??????
Whats the most powerful drug that youve done? When your opinion is “everyone is bad” it’s hard to be nuanced or objective.
I agree. I'm not down with all the hate on Lowe. The entire line was a shambles last year. He wasn't the weakest link.I'm 1000% fine with the team upgrading Lowe by signing or trading for an upgrade to Lowe.
However, LT's are hard to find. In any case, I don't think that a 7th rounder will beat him out.
The fact Campbell that the current incumbent starter at LT, should tell you all you need to know on lowe. He's a back up, and should he make the roster that's where's he's projected.I agree. Just hope Campbell is the real deal and the whole conversation is moot.
The #4 pick overall being viewed as putative incumbent starter is no referendum on anyone else, it’s just a reflection of the value expected from where he was picked. The fact Campbell that the current incumbent starter at LT, should tell you all you need to know on lowe. You’re a negative Nancy, don’t need drugs to see that. Anyone who reads this site with any regularity knows.Whats the most powerful drug that youve done?
Oh of course, however Campbell has looked the part. Nothing against lowe.. but he's a backup and was pressed into having to be a starter by the butchery of the OL last few years. The #4 pick overall being viewed as putative incumbent starter is no referendum on anyone else, it’s just a reflection of the value expected from where he was picked.
I think that's right. The fact a guy is not starter-quality doesn't necessarily mean he is without value. It is also true, though, that a team as early in a rebuild as the Pats still are should give a little extra weight to younger guys with upside over proven mediocrities. Each case is gonna be different, depending on the makeup - and age - of the players on the current roster at the various positions.Oh of course, however Campbell has looked the part. Fair statement. I'm not here to bash any player. But the organization told us what they thought of our OT play they saw the same things we all did. When you have the 32nd ranked OL something has to change. by signing Moses and drafting Campbell who are both starting players as they should be.I think that's right. I don’t agree with that. I agree that a long term perspective should be the foundation. But thinking long term doesn’t have to mean giving up on the current season.I don't see a LOT of trade value here, frankly, but there's no question a lot of these guys are dispensible, particularly if the team chooses to emphasize potential and youth over "proven experience," which is what I think a team which had fallen as low as the Patriots had ought to do. The team should in general think long term. I would place comparatively little value on "winning this year." Win what, a one-and-done trip to the playoffs? Who cares? I don't. I want the team rebuilt, and that calls for a longer-term perspective (and for the abandonment of such quick-fix boondoggles as the Diggs nonsense). So trade away your proven mediocrities - for younger players with upside if you can find them - but I wouldn't expect any kind of big haul, given the quality of the goods you are going to be peddling. Most teams, I suspect, will just wait you out on most of these guys, hoping to pick them up later, cheap, off the scrap heap.
We should have learned that lesson in 2001.I don’t agree with that. I agree that a long term perspective should be the foundation. But thinking long term doesn’t have to mean giving up on the current season.
Winning is a habit. Learning to win comes from experience winning, not from experience losing. There’s no need for a trip to the playoffs this year to be one and done, unless the roster is constructed with a lot of one year rentals of fading stars. Despite your dig at Diggs that is not the way the Patriots have built the current roster. Diggs and Hollins are here to jumpstart a WR room that has nobody but Bourne that’s played on a winning NFL team. Diggs signed for three years, Hollins for two. So I’m not seeing them as quick fixes that sacrifice the future. They’re here to start something. Why not start it now? Why wait?
Just about the time the team is genuinely competitive, they will all be ready for the scrap heap. A pointless exercise except as a sop to fanboys who lack the patience for a genuine, legitimate rebuild.I don’t agree with that. I agree that a long term perspective should be the foundation. That’s a specious problem. Any team that is genuinely competitive for the long haul faces the same basic problems. They have to keep replacing aging or injured players, and extend or replace youngsters that expect to get paid once their rookie contracts expire. Patriots will be no different.Just about the time the team is genuinely competitive, they will all be ready for the scrap heap. A pointless exercise except as a sop to fanboys who lack the patience for a genuine, legitimate rebuild.
Your peroration is silly. I do not propose "waiting" at all: I propose getting on immediately with the actual work of rebuilding the team, rather than wasting time and resources snatching at shiny objects.
didnt say it was wise todo so, just that he has a marketThe Pats don't have a cap issue, so trading Owenu at this point despite his awful contract would be idiotic. The OL has been a problem for years, yet they are going to trade their better players? With that said, unless he has an All Pro season, this will be his last season in NE as his cap number goes from $21M to $25M in 2026. He has no guaranteed money in 2026 and the cap savings will be $17.5M.
Lowe’s best spot is UPS delivery, though he is probably better off in the warehouse reaching tall orders.I believe Lowe's better spot is RT, but he can play LT if called on. he played 33, 476 and last season 804 offensive snaps, all with inferior coaching/scheme. he is 6'5". 320 lbs. 35.5 inch arms. he has improved each season.
if released, he will be signed within 1 hour.
And there's me thinking this was a football forum.Whats the most powerful drug that youve done?
Lowe was a 6th rounder. 7th rounders beat out 6th rounders all the time.In any case, I don't think that a 7th rounder will beat him out.
Strange is a good player. You’re a negative Nancy, don’t need drugs to see that. Anyone who reads this site with any regularity knows.
If it were raining money, you’d be complaining the quarters were hitting you on the head.
