Interior OL

I disagree. Getting Strange back and adding Moses allows them to put Onwenu back at right guard, which is where he belongs. Bradbury is a band aid but he’s and improvement over Brown, and I believe they will add a starting left tackle in the draft. The last is conjecture, but that’s still a very different line than last season, and they will be better. This also turns starters into their depth, and guys like Wallace , Sow, and Robinson should all get better with experience. It’s not a world beater OL, but I don’t believe it will suck either
We’re an LT away from merely competent, which is a giant leap from the generationally terrible that we were in 2024.

Vrabel apparently said Strange will keep working at Center.
Does that mean he's not in the picture to help at LG? If so, does that mean:
1. they think Schweitzer is a legit option at LG?
2. they don't think much of Strange being a top 5 lineman (Bradbury is the clear #1 at C)
3. they plan on signing or drafting more than just LT, IOL is still high priority - LG
4. Robinson or Sow have a real chance
Vrabel actually said that Strange showed some good things in the last two weeks last year at center so he will be permitted to continue to develop his craft in that role and compete for the job. However, he also specifically said that Strange is not explicitly a center and will be in the mix for any IOL spot.

To me, Vrabel is saying “Bradbury is currently the starter, in all likelihood, but if Strange looks like the better option in camp then we’ll start him. If he doesn’t, then he will be in the mix to start at guard instead.”

It is absolutely relevant. Likelihood of achieving starter status is directly associated with round the player was drafted in.

Bigger disappointment with first rounder as a backup than 3rd or 4th rounder
Oh, we aren't talking about who should start or be a backup. We are talking about felling of disappointment.
============
I think that Vrabel has a different approach. His assessment of Strange will have to with what he can be expected to produce. We have lots of evidence and will have more in Training Camp.

Whether Strange was drafted in the 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st round 4 years ago is simply not part of his decisionmaking.

More important is that Strange will be a free agent after the season. Other things being equal (if expected production is the same), it makes more sense to start Robinson or Sow.

I DO NOT expect other things to be equal. I think that Strange is very likely to be our LG because he has shown that he can be a starting LG. That is the case, whether he drafted in the 1st or the 3rd.
========
AS AN ASIDE
Whether we keep a player on the 53 in his rookie year is partially dependent on where was drafted. Mostly, this often applies to Year 2.
