Some of the best WR's in the NFL were 2nd Round Picks, we just have to pick the right one for a change.

We don’t draft well when it comes to recievers. I’m not holding out hope that we’ll pick a receiver such as those you mentioned. They don’t fit our style.Metcalf, A.J. Brown, and Deebo Samuel were taken in the 2nd Round of the same draft, with Higgins and Pittman Jr. in the 2nd round the draft after. What's so friggin funny?
So, Metcalf, Brown, Samuel, Pittman Jr., and Higgins don't fit us? Just sit quietly for a moment and think hard about what you just said. We drafted poorly when we have, and not drafted the ones I mentioned. Those WR's fit any style. We don’t draft well when it comes to recievers. Then that needs to change immediately with this draft and beyond.I’m saying we have the wrong approach when it comes to evaluating receivers.

That's a very curious statement considering they were 10-7 last year and signed one of the top WR's available, whereas we were 4-13 last year.Well, I think we're in better shape than the Steelers. We have Maye, Vrabel, a nice Cap situation, high draft picks, and even with FA, will be good with the cap next year too. Who's going to get the ball to Metcalf, let alone the other things that we have going for us that they don't?
One trick pony at WR,I do not think Metcalf was worth a high 2nd round pick. I would have done it for third rounder
Every team has a cap situation that helps them retain their own. The days of high profile free agents is over.Well, I think we're in better shape than the Steelers. Perhaps. I do know that eventually the NFL is going to have to do something with the next CBA and a host of other issues. It seems that in some respects, the NFL is imploding.Every team has a cap situation that helps them retain their own. The days of high profile free agents is over.
Of course they do. Instead the Patriots picked Harry, the worst pick in the history of the Patriots. It was the pick that drove Brady off the team in frustration at the stoooopid, idiotic WR drafting....and eventually to the firing of BB. As a result no one wants to play for the Patriots anymore. The weather, the hard playing surface, the taxes, that facilities, the cheapskate owners, the Felgers in the media, etc. could all be tolerated if the Patriots were a winning, successful team. So, Metcalf, Brown, Samuel, Pittman Jr., and Higgins don't fit us? It's funny; I was just thinking earlier today that Bill's unwillingness or failure to draft quality WR's (like the ones I mentioned just in back to back 2nd Rounds), was one of the reasons that led Brady to wanting out. Bill didn't put a lot of of value in WR's, and did a poor job of evaluating them. Nice to know I'm not the only one that knows that. I love Bill, but his drafting in the last 8 years as HC/GM were overall horrible.Of course they do. Instead the Patriots picked Harry, the worst pick in the history of the Patriots. There should be big posters of N'keal Harry plastered all over the offices of the Patriots as a reminder of how an imbecile draft pick can ruin a franchise,
