I remember showing my grandson the chase when he was about 9. he thought it was just the best thing. Such a great bit of film work. It is still the best.
I love that I didn't need to see the original comment to know you both were talking about Bullitt

Anything under 33" Arms in not desirable. And with the #4 Overall Pick, if Campbell and/or Banks Jr. come in under that, that's absolutely a NO-GO! I don't want to spend the #4 Overall Pick on an OG.
In the 1973 NFL draft, the Patriots selected an OG named John Hannah with the fourth pick in the first round.

I know. I watched him play. But, OG isn't our greatest need on the OL.

Its hard to believe that if hhis arm length is 32 and 7/8 instead of 33 he will automatically be disqualified as a LT
Kind of funny

Hannah was also was a lay up prospect. The only reason he was at 4 and wasn't the first lineman in the draft was specifically because his size meant he was probably going to be a guard.

Nobody in the draft is even close to that on the line. If there was a John Hannah up for grabs, I'd say get him no questions asked.

It’s definitely a sliding scale kinda thing. 33” qualifies but barely. He has to be a few eighths of an inch over 33” to firmly be a tackle on many boards. Of course, he may very well be able to play tackle under 33” but the historical likelihood is low. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen.

It is funny that one of the LTs everyone wants in FA, Alaric Jackson, measured in at 32.5" at the Senior Bowl? No combine that year.

There are obviously desired physical traits for every position: Height/Weight, Speed/Quickness/Agility, Upper/Core/Lower Body Strength, Arm Length/Hand Size and the list goes on. That being said, have there been players that lacked desired physical traits that were not only able to play a position that they played in College at the highest level and be highly successful in the NFL? Absolutely! If the Patriots draft Will Campbell, even at #4, I not only truly hope he doesn't just become a legit solid LT, but a year in and year out All Pro.

So, there are always exceptions. One thing that I do know, is that this team needs an infusion of serious young talent pretty much everywhere (except for Starting QB and one CB spot). OL (especially LT) is crucial. They're not going to plug every hole in this FA and Draft, but they can establish a solid foundation by being successful this off-season and then building upon that in the years following.

Incase anyone was hoping to watch a defensive lineman throw passes, masslive is reporting that Abdul Carter won’t throw the ball at the combine….what amazing analysis that totally validates you as a source of football information.

Anxious to see how some of the guys we all have been talking about look this week. Shocker early on is now Sanders is not going to participate in the drills but will do interviews. I figured he would want to show how he stacks up to Ward, guess his daddy told him the name will carry you son.

Yep. Caleb Williams could get away with it because he knew he was a lock to go #1, but Sanders needs to improve his stock before the Draft, and sitting it out won’t help his cause any.

So, it's not just me that thought there was something off about that article?

Ashton Jeany ? Next Marshall Faulk
If so do you take a shot with him?

Just a typo. They clearly meant run/work out. Which is helpful if you're looking forward to his testing numbers.

Reports on Sanders that he's not a first round talent. If he goes out and flops, then that confirms the reports. IMO, the reports must be true, otherwise, why wouldn't you go out and shut everyone up? What's the saying? It's better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and confirm it? Sounds like that's the situation here.

Now before everyone jumps on me and says Caleb Williams didn't participate last year... he was widely considered the overall first pick for a while leading into the draft. This is not that.

Hard to imagine a QB at Colorado (decent conference) for 2 years and threw for over 7000 yards, 70%/74% completion rate in 2023/2024, 64 TDs, and 13 interceptions is not a Top 10, and probably, a Top 5 pick. Sanders has gotten better every year, and his team has constantly improved as well..
