TRADE FOR A WR

Cooper at 31 is too old, Godwin at 28 has some years left but his problem is injuries. It was discussed in another thread but if we could get Godwin on a good deal I would bring him on board but just adding him will not be enough.

Makes sense. IF Godwin checks out medically AND they're just intending on using him as a hopefully reliable target to help Maye (but he's by no means even our #2 WR (as we do better in those two positions in FA and The Draft), then I'm good with that.

Josh wasn't the guy picking the groceries ARCH, this is a totally different regime with Vrabel at the helm.. this will look like a functioning operation this season.

arch seems to forget that BB had a habit of picking the worse WR's. For every miss BB had @ wR other Teams hit.

Cooper Kupp on two year deal is not the end of the world. Teams can turn it around in a hurry.

Kupp is a nice addition when you have another guy on the outside.. he would be excellent if we could get him for say a 4th or 5th rounder. We need at least at minimum 2 WRs of impact.. we have all the 3s and 4s a team needs.. how about some 1s and 2s..

Only if we get a 6th-rounder in return.

Metcalf is a head case. I live in Seattle and most Seahawks fans could care less if he’s on the team at this point. He’s done some really boneheaded things on the field time after time over the past two seasons. If they are willing to trade him, there’s probably a good reason for it.

To me you don't give up top draft picks for a WR if you have the worst or one of the worst rosters in the league. That's something you do if you're a player or two away (or at least a decent roster)

We have Two Young WR who could turn it up a notch with the right Vets. I expect both Pop Douglas and K Boutte to be better next season. Imagine getting Tee Higgins and Cooper Kupp that would open things for both guys. Excellent WR Room right there.

Your Tee Higgins is a smidge better than Putrid Bourne lost me Wozzy. Trying to find my way back with a compass and magnet.

Higgins has one of the best QB’s throwing to him and has barely eclipsed 1000 yards in two out of five years. Kendrick Bourne’s best season was 800 yards with Trash Jones throwing to him.

Higgins is big, tall and physical… but he’s not winning any foot races or running past you. He’s a great #2 but he wants to be paid like a #1. Overpaying is a great path to mediocrity.

I say we try to trade for DK Metcalf. McD is coming back. Hunter Henry led the NFL in TD's by a TE in 2021 with a crap QB, Demario Douglas in the slot would be nasty. We need a David Patten/Randy Moss guy on the outside to stretch the field.

We're going to get in line...good luck finding a bargain. This ain't 20 years ago Wozzy: Teams have to pay Today especially if they $h!t the bed in the Draft. Can't have it both ways.

If the Eagles win the Super Bowl and he has quiet games he will want out.
If the Eagles lose and he has a bad game he will want out.

Only way he stays is if he gets over 100 yds 4 plus catches the next 2 weeks each game.

If they lose cause a bad performance by Hurts he is out.

Probably true. I think it's hilarious how a lot of posters here don't want certain wide receivers because they don't speak well, are rough around the edges, have a me first attitude....meanwhile these players produce big time numbers for their teams to help them win! Meanwhile, our well spoken, kind, choir boys couldn't catch a cold on a blizzard day!
