BGC 2024 WR/PTP Thread

I just want to leave this here along with my hope that he is one of our 3rd picks.

Jack bech is the far more desirable WR from TCU.

Actually he’s somewhat my favorite WR in the whole class right now. Dude is just super savvy, big strong and simply GETS OPEN with Separation. Dude is gonna be a steal. 6’2 215 lbs. and moves more than quick enough.

I see him as a bigger more athletic Cooper Kupp. Man I would love to have him.

I am certainly no expert but I did watch Tet McMilan 2023 and 2024 highlight videos. Before I watched I thought , not another jump ball receiver but was impressed at the amount of separation he did achieve. Admittedly this is a small sample size and does not show the bad plays eg drops etc. I did see somewhere on another thread that he does have drops in his game. Also, what was the level of terms he played against.

Overall I am happier that he could be a possible choice but as I said an amateur viewpoint.

His biggest YAC plays of the year were on three TDs where the CB fell down in coverage....he had a tendency to find holes in zone, but I wonder how much of that was just being on the same page has a QB he has been playing with for 9 years. I just watch his game and see a chainmover, and that isn't someone I want to spend a top 5 pick on.

In the last mock I did I took both Bech and Williams. lol

I like Bech a ton as well, But we need more speed on offense and that is part of the reason I am infatuated with Williams

Honestly I care a lot less about speed overall. I want explosive players who can quickly create separation off the line and are great at finding space, and Bech is just that. He might not outrun all the DB's, but his get off and ability to separate quickly are extremely impressive. His tool bag to do so is also quite impressive for being so new to the position. Started his career at LSU as a tight end, so he's quite the swiss army knife. Really only broke out this year (his senior year) after converting to full time WR last season. Hes on a upward trajectory at the position, but still retains all his ability to play in tight formations. I think come draft time hell be going in the 2nd-3rd round. I think he's going to test a lot better then people expect.

I know. Sad story. A footballer himself.
Hope it motivated him and gives him more appreciation for his life.

And let’s make it clear, it had nothing really to do with the sugar bowl. It was a terror attack. She’ll that loser get 72 g*y males as his gift in his afterlife.

Williams isn't good enough at football. He's another athlete who flashes at collegiate level, but he won't do anything in the pros

We all know LSU is famous for its great receivers: Chase, Jefferson, Thomas Jr, Nabers etc. Along with Lamb they were born in Louisiana. I am writing this because I am watching Karen Lacys' tapes and he is very interesting 3rd round prospect. I like a lot his route running ability and reliable hands. He reminds me a bit Pickens. And guess what? He is LSU product and he was born in Louisiana as well.
