100 percent.Me too... Defense would be Better!
I don't know about that. The Pats were bad for a long time over their long history. I'm sure some of the old timers here can point to worse DC's.Covington is the worst DC we’ve had.
5 - Pats, Jets, Bears, Jags and Saints. There will also be a 6th very soon once the Cowboys once Mike McCarthy's contract expires, unless he gets an extension in the coming days.Correct me if I’m wrong, but there are only 4 head coaching vacancies, right? Pats, Jets, Bears, and Jags. Am I missing anyone? The Giants are keeping Daboll.
That’s also really good news, this is a remarkably low number of job openings, so more chances to get the candidate you want. In the recent past, I believe there have been 6-7 openings annually.
Jonathon has a list:I hope this go 'round involves real, serious football interviews, not whatever off-putting weird stuff is reported to have occurred when staffing up Mayo.
Moot point as Wolf isn't even officially GM. If the new HC wants a GM over Wolf, then there will be a new GM over Wolf. If Wolf doesn't like it, or if the new HC/GM combo really ses no use for Wolf, then he's handed his walking papers too.But is Wolf strapped on? Or is Johnson handpicking his own GM?
Lol no he will be a HC somewhere this year.Interview for OC. Right?
No HC.Interview for OC. Right?
Someone has to replace him as Lions OC too, and you have to think they'd look internal for that. If the QB coach is ready for an OC job, decent chance he takes that promotion internally.Curious how each staff would look like on offense with Ben at HC.
I would assume Ben takes his Lions staff with him. Did not realize our friend Mark Brunell was their QB coach. Him getting promoted to OC under his staff may make our fanbase's heads explode.
Vrabel was 100% against trading AJ Brown that’s what started the rift in Tennessee.Who is Vrable's guy? The guy who thought he could trade away AJ Brown and replace him with Traylon Burks?
No thanks
Yes 100%. Pioli, Dimitroff... someone. Hiring a football overlord would be good right now. What they should really do is bring in another VP/GM and pick their brain.
I would say the next person inline to be OC in Detroit is their pass game coordinator Tanner Engstrand that we interviewed last year for the OC jobSomeone has to replace him as Lions OC too, and you have to think they'd look internal for that. If the QB coach is ready for an OC job, decent chance he takes that promotion internally.
...or Ray Agnew. Someone also from outside the BB treeYes 100%. Pioli, Dimitroff... someone. Hiring a football overlord would be good right now.
Last week I saw someone say that Stanley Morgan didn't deserve the HOF because he played on so many losing teams.I don't know about that. The Pats were bad for a long time over their long history. I'm sure some of the old timers here can point to worse DC's.
