The Bills have nothing to play for and it's actually smart of them to lose the game, why strengthen a division rival when you know the other 2 don't have a QB that can beat you.

The only way there won't be a QB needy team at #2 is if all the teams other than the Pats have four wins. Then the Jags would be #2.

Why would the team at #2 trade with the pats though? Is the team at #3 gonna give up enough to jump them?

It's because we want a team further back to need to leapfrog the team at 2 and pay through the nose.

It would be another team trading up to get ahead of a QB needy team at #2. It increases the pressure to jump to #1 for teams at three or lower.

BTW, they drop to 3rd. That would probably put them out of the Ward/Sanders range. They will need to trade up if this is where they stand.

I think Ward could be if you got to his mechanics a bit. But you're right, there's no sure-fire locks.

Paying the price to move up from that far away is unlikely. You really only have the teams at #2 or #3 as teams likely to give you 'something' to stop another team. Given the prospects this year... it seems unlikely they're going to be incredibly motivated to give up the bag to prevent it.
