Higgins will come here. He has a young and up and coming QB throwing to him.. I say sign Higgins and trade the 3rd for judon for DK Metcalf.

He’s never had more than 74 receptions in a season, that’s a 2. I realize that you are desperate for receivers, to the degree where you would have taken Harrison Jr. over Maye, but that’s not how you build a great team, and the goal is Lombardi’s, so you build to achieve that goal. If Tee Higgins wants 23 million a year I’m all in, if he wants 30 then no thanks.

I agree with you conceptually, and if we were in the Bill/Brady era of spending to the cap every year, then every dollar needs to be allocated correctly. I just don't trust Wolf to take the $7 million you're proposing we save on Higgins and believing he'll spend it on capable defensive pieces. He'll probably go bargain hunting and get the wrong players.

I'd rather pay $32 million on the combination of Tee Higgins and Travis Hunter and worry about how that needs to adjust in 4 years when Hunter reaches the tail end of his rookie contract.

I’d hate to see him play both in the same game. I think that’s a recipe for disaster. He can play WR for an entire game and then switch to CB the next game if the matchup warrants it. But both in the same game is too much and he will break down.

Deebo is tougher than 95% of WR’s in the NFL, that’s why he was playing both WR and RB, and Higgins is hurt all the time just playing #2 WR. You can be as obsessed with WR’s as you want, the GM can’t. They have to build a full team, not just a QB WR duo.

Everybody and Granny knows Deebo Samuel is injury prone again no thanks. Give me Tee Higgins or give me death. I am obsessed with his Size - Speed and Catch Radius sue me.

That's why I'm glad our $$$$$$ are at Wolfe's disposal. IF he pitched for the older Calvin Ridley you can bet he's going all in on the Younger Tee Higgins.

Agreed there. For example look at Marcus Jones he playa primarily on STs and defense and spots on offense.. he hasn't been able to finish a season last 2 years.

On top of upgrading your top two WRs you go back to an offense that utilizes the slot WR (beasley, mckenzie, robinson). The offense would make a complete turnaround with adequate OL play. The owner has to admit he was wrong & spend money. Will it happen? I’m not sold.

Going back to Erhardt Perkins is a terrible idea. Keep Maye in a west coast offense.

We’re not talking about Vrabel who was 260. Hunter is 190. It would be a mistake for him to play both often in the same game.

Although WR is the bigger need for the team, it doesn't seem to be Hunter's best position. Most of the coverage that I have seen indicates that he is a better CB. Ty Law (I am pretty sure it was him) was saying that he will be an elite CB or a good WR in the NFL.
