We gotta go get him (Tee Higgins)

Many players are influenced by their agents. If the agent says "Hey Tee, NE can pay you more $$ than anyone, Maye is another Burrow, Vrabel's an awesome coach and he's assembled a helluva staff, they have a top-4 pick, so let's do it", he might come.

I look at Tee Higgins like this: He's a reasonably hot girl in a real small town. Every dude in town is going to take his shot. You could do a lot worse and you could do a lot better as well. Same thing here.
I've never been with a ten before but one night I was with 5 2s and I think that ought to count.

I agree that Breer is stuck in 2024 when it comes to the Pats. Vrabel>Mayo, Maye>Jones, JMcD>AVP. They are far from undesirable. I think the location has more to do with it than anything else. If I were some 20 something looking to make a chit ton of money on this contract, I'd probably pick a winning team or one with that offered a off-field lifestyle that was very attractive. If I am not going to a playoff team, where is the coolest place to live, based on whatever lifestyle I want?

A large portion of NFL players do not live in the areas they play in during the offseason. Many rent places during the season and training camp and live elsewhere especially the ones with monster contracts. During the season, players don't have a lot of opportunity for nightlife anyway.

I am thinking there is at least a decent chance that Higgins doesn't live fulltime in any state he ends up in for his NFL job. Maybe if he ends up in Florida or California where it is warm. But if he signs with Green Bay or Buffalo, do people think he will live in either city fulltime?

The tax thing is real, but it is worse in California and other states.

My way of liking your post.

I'm not talking about nightlife only, per se anyway. I get the Tyreek Hill = Miami nightlife thing, but a kid from some small town might not want all that. I think it comes down to very individual taste.

Yeah take that Albert Beer.

No, we can't, but she can. She has options. Hopefully we can make her fall in love. My guess is that she's not going to be charmed, and we shouldn't be falling in love with her just yet, either.

Yeah, I think we have to overpay now, until Drake comes into his own and they start winning.
Valentines is right around the corner, maybe he likes flowers and chocolates...

Jus sayin......
