Chaux is almost on a barren planet. He's a decent big man, and with proper help he'd be good. He's never gonna be Donald, and contrary to folks on here, he's not being paid like that.

You could be right becuase there are no pass rushers to help him out on the front. Getting at least 2 rushers minimum would help the defense by leaps and bounds

Hire a real GM, fire the coaching staff, hire competent coaches. Pay Higgins 20% more than his next highest offer, draft Hunter with the #2 or 3 pick. Play Hunter at Z and Higgins at X. Hunter is your Ja’maar Chase and Higgins is still himself. Drake Maye at QB. Instant offense.

Tee Higgins won't determine that the Market will a Young WR's Dream. Don't get upset if we're the ones who overpay: we have shown we cannot Draft them correctly. Those who can't Draft them have to Pay for them can't have it both ways.

Yeah and paying Higgins doesn’t stop that, and you’re not going to draft an offensive linemen at #2. Trade up from you 2nd rounder for a tackle, and sign a free agent LT like Cam Robinson just in case too even if he’s not that great. Heck, sign a top end left guard also, those are available. You’re probably set with Strange at C and Onwenu at RG. RT is iffy but Wallace may be fine. If you end up being okay everywhere else and just need to shuffle the deck at RT one more season then you’re doing okay. Drake can handle RT pressure.

Agree conceptually, just not with Robinson, who sucks. But both Rams tackles, Jackson and Noteboom are free agents. Sign OL in free agency. Trade #2 for a 1st in 26’ and a 2nd this year. Then draft BPA, and trade back into the first for the LT( Ersery or Simmons)

Don’t go over 25 per for Higgins, period. He’s not a #1. Trade for Deebo, his deal will run out in a couple of seasons freeing more money for WR.

I’ll be pissed, period. Paying #2 receivers like number 1 receivers is really stupid, and it creates all sorts of problems down the road. The goal is to build a great team, not to satisfy fan desperation. Any GM who acts like a fan will do a truly ****ty job.

Yeah I just threw Robinson’s name out there but sub in whoever. There are a few guys out there who could work but don’t have high ceilings - but should still be an upgrade.

Not the case in Cincy. Granted, Burrow has had more injuries than desired but he’s also not athletic. I’d patch up the line a bit in free agency, spend a couple of picks on it (though trend more defense this draft overall probably) and look to focus more on it in 2026 now that I have my core “weapons” locked in.

I think you're sleeping on Higgins yeah they have the Great J Chase: but we should take nothing away from Higgins.

I realize that you are desperate for receivers, to the degree where you would have taken Harrison Jr. over Maye, but that’s not how you build a great team, and the goal is Lombardi’s, so you build to achieve that goal. If Tee Higgins wants 23 million a year I’m all in, if he wants 30 then no thanks.

Deebo is tougher than 95% of WR’s in the NFL, that’s why he was playing both WR and RB, and Higgins is hurt all the time just playing #2 WR. You can be as obsessed with WR’s as you want, the GM can’t. They have to build a full team, not just a QB WR duo.

The Brown family have short arms and deep pockets. They won't pay Higgins and chase. We will pony up whatever Higgins wants. I say sign Tee and trade the 3rd for Metcalf.
