Thunder did pull the trigger on Pete when it was time.
Let's see what happens a week from Monday
If he doesn't do a full cleanout then he can be blasted.
Not necessarily when you use DEI principles to build your staff. And when you don't use merit when hiring coaches, like just said above. It's tough to fire based on meritAn embarrassing home loss today and I think it’s over.
The f* you talking about? DEI principles...so Kraft didn't hire Mayo because he thought he would be good, he only did it cause he was black? Not necessarily when you use DEI principles to build your staff. This sounds pretty accurate. In the end it will be whats best for the organization. Annoying that Kraft is always slithering around instead of actually manning up and demanding excellence fRom his organization.I’ve been on the record in saying there’s no chance Kraft will fire Mayo. His ego will prevent him from doing it. But after this game, I don’t know…how can he not fire him??
So think this is how he’ll do it. Wolf doesn’t have the power in the organization to fire Mayo. So He’ll actually fire Wolf and bring in some new exec of football ops or some **** like that and let the new guy do the clean out. So then Kraft can distance home from the situation and if the new guy doesn’t make all the right calls and can blame the new guy.
If he sold the team another billionaire with a huge ego would own the team. At least RK has had success. He’s not smart enough to be even an average NFL coach, and he will never get another opportunity post-Patriots. I never said RK would sell the team, I said he should. It’s strange that you folks think that I believe my opinion will sway RK. Do you also believe in magic?
Mayo at his opening press conference states that he was selected to be "a black head coach." Which was one of the more weird statements I've ever heard by a new hire. In the same statement he went on about how he was going to build a team on DEI and he would fight racism. All of which was pretty strange to hear by a coach at his introductionThe f* you talking about? Someone put their foot in his mouth here ^Things are so bad to a point Rex Ryan would be a good hire
This has aged very well.Because everthing they have just built in the front office and coaching staff needs to be burned to the ground.
He has to, there's 5 or 6 players willing to play for him, even Maye apparently has had enough.I’ve been on the record in saying there’s no chance Kraft will fire Mayo. His ego will prevent him from doing it. But after this game, I don’t know…how can he not fire him??

I said the same idea in the game day thread. Kraft will know Mayo has to go but won’t want to take the blame. So he will instead point to the front office and tie them to Belichick’s outdated drafting practices and let them go, as another attempt to blame Bill. Then he will bring in a new GM and say that this new GM will decide if Mayo should be kept, knowing full well that the answer is definitely not. I wouldn’t be surprised if the GM that is brought in is on Vrabel’s short list of preferred guys. Then that GM probably hires Vrabel, although maybe they go some other direction - either way, Mayo is out.I’ve been on the record in saying there’s no chance Kraft will fire Mayo. This is very well thought out and very well could come to fruition.I said the same idea in the game day thread. Kraft will know Mayo has to go but won’t want to take the blame. I'll be completely honest here, even if they just fired Wolf and elevated Highsmith, I feel like they'd immediately be in a better spot, just simply in terms of the upcoming draft. If it's the best choice, it remains to be seen, but at least you could start doing, you know, something.I said the same idea in the game day thread.
