Mayo said today as soon as he's ready to play he will play. He's got the freshest body on the entire team. Even missing 7 weeks he's better than anyone in the secondary not named gonzo. I say he plays next week?
I'm looking at J Peppers sideways though: what he did was foolish and let his Team down. IF he was here earlier we probably pull some of those close games out: again he's on my crap list.

This smacks of something a bad team does (or desperate owner does) if thats the case. How desperate do you think Kraft is for Mayo to eeek out another win this year so he can say, "See, progress we won another game".

It won't matter him playing isn't going to help them win a game really.
This is so far from the Patriot Way that we’re on a different continent. I am not sure how much longer I can stick with them. The whole organization feels sleazy and immoral, and it’s not just about Peppers.

I understand brother and he did hurt his team to a degree. I try not to pass judgment on people though as sometimes what gets portrayed to the media is not the entire truth of the matter. He's one of My favorite players on the team and had been a top notch guy in the community from what I hear.

People who live in gingerbread houses shouldn't eat gingerbread cookies or something like that

Oh good!! Now we get to see on Monday whether he was a “Stud” or “Dud” during this week’s loss. Seems I recall him being praised as a “Stud” in his last game prior to his “troubles”. Would you have ever believed we’d be reading about “Studs” after a LOSS!! More like a professional version of “everyone gets a trophy”…,

Not a good look...but then again, no one is looking at the Pats this year.
Yeah, public comment if Peppers were put on the field of a Super Bowl winning team like the Pats once were, is very different what can be expected for a team that is 3-9.

I think you have to wonder about what the defensive players and secondary think about the situation. It could be a mistake playing him and there is resentment in the team to a large degree. But there again if the starting defensive players are ok with him, then play him. But I sure think they should be sounded out first.

I have to imagine the video evidence almost completely exonerates him if it's enough to take him off the exempt list entirely and also reinstate him immediately.
I am wondering if his lawyer's have shared this evidence with the league. Can't imagine they would take him off the list now if they weren't completely sure something wasn't going to get him off the hook.

The way the season has gone I believe it's a welcome sight to see a leader of the team back around the facility. To have him back means the organization, the NFL and the commonwealth all saw something to exonerate peppers from what he was being accused of.

My guess is the team, the NFL, and the commonwealth have all communicated and feel or determined that there is evidence to show his innocence from the charges.

The NFL took him off the list because he couldn't keep him on the list any longer. It's the max amount for a personal conduct charge. It's not an admission of guilt or innocence.

Link please? I never heard of there being a specific time table for DV. I mean Ray Rice never got off the exempt list after being put on it, right?

Also, the rules back then were different. The League and the union have a new arraignment in place.

What I don't get about this explanation is why did they leave him on the exempt list for 7 weeks then? The suspension would have only been 6. Clearly they can just do whatever they want anyway "good of the league" so while this is logical I still think they could have used it longer if they deemed it necessary.

I think more likely they just believe him or that whatever the charges actually wind up as won't be assault but something lesser.

Correct and also as far as the team aspect they must've concluded that the charges aren't what they appear.

We don't know that. They haven't said anything to that effect.

Arch, there is no way he's back in and around the facility without some intimate knowledge of situation especially with the situation of the alleged victim trying to ask for $$$. RK already Said if he really did this then he's gone when it happened.

Believe what you want to believe. I prefer to have some evidence in the form of a statement or court ruling.

I understand that and I'm not saying your wrong I'm just using some common logic on the situation.
