In a high profile case like this, with a profession athlete accused of domestic violence, the State had no choice but to take the case to trial. Thinks of the outrage that would have ensued if the charges were dropped.

There'd have been ZERO outrage if they made a statement to the effect : " Through diligent investigation, it came to light that the woman in the case was actually attempting to violate Mr. Peppers by forcing him into unprotected intercourse. Despite Mr. Peppers stating that he did not want to have unprotected intercourse, the woman continued to press the issue. It was at this time that she also received a phone call from a Patriots teammate. It was at this point Mr. Peppers disengaged himself, got dressed and left. "" Or however it went down after he told her "NO".

It's clear that charges should be brought against her for filing a false report. Peppers and the Patriots should file a restraining order against her to keep her skanky arse away from the team.

30-40 years ago, a 16th or 8-ball for my weekend would not have been unprecedented... The walls of the old Daisy Buchanan's on Newbury Street or Houlihan's at Gubmint Center would attest to that... The Cask & Flagon too, as well as the old Boston Garden...
