Absolutely. Maye is learning and growing possession by possession it almost seems. It makes no sense to complain about his progress when the real problems - a lousy roster, a lousy coaching staff, and incompetent GM work - are as blatantly obvious as they are.I really don't understand the negative comments about Maye. All rookie QB's make mistakes as they learn. Patrick Mahomes would demonstrate flaws playing on this offense executing the same game plan. We laugh at other teams ruining rookie QB's by rushing them onto the field when they don't have talent around them. The rest of the players are playing in a way that forces Maye to try to do too much which is one of the things he needs to work on.
