I'd do some pretty dumb things if I had 90 mil in my bank account.

But giving someone an obscene amount of money to do dumb things for me would definitely be on my list.
Hey me too! LMAO.. but point I was making is.. man just register your ride man!

A little bit of discretion and discernment will go a long way

There is no racism among cops in providence and Boston. They are just following the law.

During while black after midnight is serious offense.
In all seriousness, you can barely see the driving during the day, you can't see them a night, and you surely can't see them through tinted windows. I love how they claim they only go pulled over because they were black when there is no plausible way of even showing the cops could see the skin color of the driver!

Why yes officer I do know my vehicle is unregistered. Can I just pay that fine right now in straight cash homey? While we're at it I can I pay for the next one too? Is %20 gratuity allowed?

I drove around for a month and half with expired tags (totally missed that they were up), and drove past LEOs daily.....nada......of course the only time i was out after 11 was mornings i got up early to hunt lol

last summer i was driving to the GFs late night after working late.......and going through town i got pulled over for having a "license plate light out", checked my license & reg, on my way......but the cop was clearly fishing......weirdly, my license plate lights all worked fine the next morning hahaha

did they get pulled over for silly things because they were in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time? 100%........the cop was 100% fishing.......but they also 100% found what they were looking for lol

don't put yourself in that position......pretty simple concept

Ahhh a fellow member of the DSSWSP (do stupid ****, win stupid prizes) organization i see!

lol
Man my story is super stupid. I was doing 52 in a 35 (supposedly) and some automated radar system picked me up and sent me a ticket in the mail for it. Problem was, about a week after this I moved and even though I updated my address, apparently tickets don't honor mail forwarding so the ticket went to my old apartment, so I had no clue. The other issue was that doing >15 mph over the speed limit requires a hearing, which was supposedly scheduled and mailed along with the ticket, which of course I wouldn't have received either.

So a hearing was held that I knew nothing about, and I of course did not attend. Because I "skipped a hearing", my license was suspended indefinitely until the hearing was rescheduled and the ticket was paid. Again, unknown to me. A few months later, I just happened to go through a DUI checkpoint where they were stopping like every 5th person and I happened to be lucky number 5. They ran my license and said "buddy your **** is suspended." I was like WTF?

So it was at that point that I had to dig and discover all of the above backstory. Insult to injury, they then ticketed me AGAIN for driving on a suspended license, which I of course had no idea was suspended in the first place. Tried to appeal it, but the court basically said "it's your fault for letting someone else move into your apartment after you that didn't tell your landlord to tell you about a ticket in your name that came to their address." And that came with a 1 year license suspension.

That wasn't a very fun year.

Nah this is minor stuff.

If this is all that happens to him during this extended layoff after signing that big contract at age 25, we can count ourselves lucky.

He needs to be back working asap.

He needs to get healthy first.

Expired registration a week ago and plate cover violations! Oh, the horror!

Expired license and unregistered vehicle, therefore, racism. How about specifying what happened in the exchange that was so racist? Maybe what little common sense this guy has leads him not to with body cameras in mind.
How many white and black drivers were pulled over?

he and his car look suspicious! no surprise.

The team needs to provide training for all their black drivers.

Totally off-topic, but I see so many cars driving around New York with these super crazy tinted windows, and I thought that was illegal? Did the law change or did I just imagine there was a law against that

whoa. dont **** with pennsylvania.

i literally did not renew my license in time. got caught. not once. twice. second time they "taught me a lesson". towed my car. had to go to court court, not traffic court but court court with a judge, prosecutor and rusty the bailiff and everything. case dismissed the day of the hearing by showing the prosecutor a valid license. attorney earned the money that day.

Around here (New Hampshire) we have annual vehicle inspections. Everyone has a color-coded sticker on their front windshield so it's easy for LEOs to check your sticker as you pass by them. Makes it easy for them to fish.

I was once expired by two days. I quietly took the ticket knowing I had proof that I had an appointment scheduled. I fought the ticket in court and won. I've learned to say as little as possible and go to court. Every time I've done that I've gotten a reduction if not dropped charges. It hasn't happened a lot lately since I've mellowed as I've aged.

LEO told me that he was doing me a favor by writing me a ticket for the inspection sticker and letting me drive home since he said the policy in the next town was to tow the car. I guess I'll never know if he was right or not. Bottom line to me was he was professional and I was courteous, I had my day in court and that was the end of it.

I have seen what I think of as rich man's justice in CT when I got a ticket for allegedly blowing through a stop sign. I took a day off work and went to court. The prosecutor told me if I made a small donation (I think it was $100?) to a state-approved charity the charges would be dropped if I kept my nose clean for six months or so. It was all official, I got a receipt from the court, but it felt like rich man's justice. I was able to take the day off from work and able to pay my way out of the situation. There were days earlier in my life where I could not have taken a day off, would have been hit with the full fine ($250 or so), ended up with points on my license and higher insurance. The $250 would have been more than a day's pay, but taking a day off during a work week would have gotten me fired, so that was not an option.

This sounds... stupid? Was the vehicle actually unregistered or did they just cite him because his temporary registration was hard to read through tinted glass?

The other stuff about him "slow rolling" and all that sounds like a lot of BS by the cops to me. Regardless, having outdated registration is not a criminal offense. Not really anything to see here. He wasn't arrested. I've been cited worse than this myself.
An outdated registration is an expired registration. Insurance does not cover a vehicle that does not have a current registration and therefor it cannot operate on a public street. It sounds like they left the car parked somewhere, not sure about RI but in my home state that vehicle more than likely would have been towed.

He probably hasn’t had time because he’s been practicing and going to defensive meetings preparing for the games on Sunday. Oh wait he hasn’t.

Boy, the resistance I got for saying paying Barmore was idiotic.

This franchise/team has gone off the rails since Bill left.
