This is probably the best OL so far this year. Start them a bit more and start Maye in London!

And yes, we have Sow and Strange as possible upgrades to Jordan. It is still a poor OL. The weakest point is Thomas as the backup OT.
Miami has a terrible defense. The line was not tested, and still gave ground.

It ALL starts with Brissett, all of it.
Friends, friends, there is enough blame and suckahe for everyone on that team…..

yes, their 3rd string QB is better than our 1st string QB.
Jacoby had a better game with a higher rating because he had no Ints.

This Maye Plan is really testing my patience to see things through and to just accept that this season is useless and we're waiting for next year.

Really just makes for a miserable season and a few months of frustrating Sundays.

This plan sucks ass.

OT - sounds like an instruction from Mr Miyagi to Daniel

It coukd be worse.

Burrow threw for 400 yards and 5 TDs and lost.

Flacco threw for 359 yards and 3 TDs and lost.

This is the state of the League : an NFL team allows Flacco to get those numbers in 2024.

Why didn’t sow play? Is Jordan ahead of him on the depth chart? Thought he was healthy now

As of right now we have the number 1 overall pick.

It's going according to plan.

I thought that the goal was to be competitive in most games until the end when we get beaten so that we can have a higher draft choice.

Yes, there are other goals. We want out team at the end of the year to be more experienced having developed players for 2025. I suspect this will be the case at QB, WR and even on the OL. And yes, Gibson is a major plus.
======
WE KNOW WHAT WE WILL NEED ON OFFENSE
3 OL's: LT, RT, C (maybe we will develop a backup or two), a top WR and
a backup QB.
a top draft pick

I don't see that our start indicates that we won't meet this year's goals.
The one great disappointment is the lack of discipline that has resulted in so many penalties.

The issue isn't the plan, or even a really bad record. The problem is sticking to the plan as some sort of sacred commitment. New data should influence the path forward. Maye seems to be ahead of schedule and the offense under Brissett is so dysfunctional that the players are showing their frustration. Make this a productive year and course correct if necessary.

I'm fine with Jordan getting reps, and with either Jordan or Sow starting. I'm not sure what this means for Strange.

Maye is indeed ahead of schedule and ready to play.

It is a long season. Give the OL a couple of weeks of health and we should be ready for Maye (in London). In addition to health, the other issue is to reduce silly penalties.

Yeah I think they roll with JB next week vs Houston.

I'm wondering myself how true this is. Beyond preseason, I truly have no idea what Maye looks like. It'd be nice to get an idea of how he looks against starters and an actual defensive scheme.

I really hope we can get Dugger, Peppers and Taki back soon so that the Defense can keep teams to less than the terrible 15 points given up today.
