Defense was actually awful. Tyler Huntley at Qb and #1 RB out, worst offense in NFL and we allowed them to run for 193 yards gain 372 of total offense and gain 24 first downs. The score only stayed low because they kept shooting themselves in the foot.
Huntley isn't a bad QB. Better than Brisket.

Lost to the Dolphins 3rd string QB and Achane out with a concussion.

It’s baffling how bad the nfl is atm.

With a win in week two and today, NE - a putrid team - would be 3-2. It’s not even a stretch. There are bad teams out there. And, sadly, here.

People were calling for Bills head, excited about the Packer way, how’s the Packer way treating ya?
I don’t remember the packers sitting on 40 mill of cap
space or sticking with a putrid QB.

Absolutely horrific performance from Brissett and he didn’t even turn the ball over. That was an easy TD pass to Polk and he sailed it. Then he throws short of the goal line on the last play.

It’s painful. Coaches ****ing sucked too.

Held then to 15 points without the offensive giving you any time to rest. Defense did pretty good against a weak offense

The Patriots offense meanwhile…

The rule is very straightforward. If after landing on his toe he jumped up with it, then all that’s needed is the toe and it’s a TD. Instead he let the foot continue to fall, and the heel fell out of bounds. This has been the rule since forever.
It's been the stupidest rule since forever.

Exactly, if the QB zipped a line drive with less air time that’s an easy catch.

I thought Brissett would given them more competent QB play than Mac, and I was wrong. He’s better than Mac in certain aspects but worse in others. Somehow this offense has managed to be worse than last year’s. It’s not all on the O-line.

I’m still holding out hope that this could be the 1993 Patriots again, that Maye is able to get in at some point, work out the kinks, and start to get things going in the right direction by mid-December to give the team something to build on for next year. I’m fearful I’m being too optimistic though.

Back-to-back home games...I feel like Maye might be a possibility for next week. Brissett did some nice things late, but there were so many tough moments...so it's going to be interesting to see what they do.
It could happen! Mayo starts Maye and then on the first drive, Drake takes a violent hit that knocks him out of the game and ends his season. It would be a fitting end to this regime (if Kraft isn't completely senile, which I fear he is).
