It was obvious from the blatant failure to contain Purdy in the pocket that one or more players were not following the program
Did you see when Peppers had a clear and clean shot at Purdy and just touched him like it was Flag Football? That was embarrassing.

Possibly but he’s not very good at it with 1 sack and 9 tackles in 4 games.
He's pretty much made the Personnel Department's decision on whether or not to keep in next year (Not!).

Nobody knows that.

Nobody knows if Vrabel was offered the job.
If Bob was truthful in that he decided 5 years ago that Mayo would be his next HC, then he probably didn't approach Vrabel (or anyone else for that matter).

I already Tyson'd him LOL.. he keeps trying to get up.
How do you have the audacity to declare victory when I debunked both your posts with sources? Someone has been watching too many election season attack ads.

What special terms did Mayo take?
Collaborative operation, allowing the GM to have final say on the roster. Most HCs have full control of the roster the GMs typically deal with contracts.

Well.. unfortunately I live in reality.. I gave you the information you already know to be true LOL... there you have it.

Well, there could have been a lot of holding too. If we're talking about Keion White, he was trying to set and break out but was being yanked by the LT.

dude...

missing an opportunity here... ring card girls

Boobies seem to calm me down as well …

Not a good look for Mayo.

Look like kids with parents with no discipline
I was kind of in the middle with the Mayo hire. I was certainly ready to move on from Bill but I really wanted an offensive minded head coach who could A, get the most out of the limited resources we have on the roster, and B, in case Maye is the guy then we aren't cycling through coordinators in his first few seasons.

With all that being said, I figured Mayo would keep some continuity with the defense and instill a lot of the good things Bill did over the years with a refreshed take on what he learned as both a player and a coach. Maybe it really just is Mayo's personality but he seems to be trying pretty hard to come across as the anti-Bill with his overly candid answers to the media and letting the players speak on things that under Bill they never would have.

There is clearly frustration amongst the offensive guys with Demario Douglas being the first to outright say it, so it is just a matter of time before the players are calling for Maye to get his shot since things with Jacoby are just not working. It also seems like Mayo and AVP/Wolf are on opposite sides when it comes to playing Maye with AVP and Wolf likely being the ones wanting him to stay on the bench. At 1-3 things are starting to go sideways fast and if Dugger and Andrews are both out for an extended period of time and guys are already calling out freelancers the locker room could go off the rails pretty quickly.

Hahaha what why are you still pushing this idea. This is not the case at all across the league.

It sounds more like terms laid out for handholding Mayo, rather than something they'd try to force on any and all applicants.

It's moot of course since no applicants were allowed.

Lack of leadership and accountability. Uche is trying to get paid next season. A selfish player. Keion White is trying too hard and losing the edge. He wants to run thru the brick wall for Coach Mayo.

He will soon find out that this is not a daycare with laughter and just self affirmation. You must have a plan.

Yes. People need to realize that Mayo has never been in a football locker room before this August, so it will take some time for him to adjust to that culture.

What's not being talked about is Mayo's in an advantageous position he's made plentiful in the league and in private business. If it all goes down hill he can walk away.. the organization would then be HC searching again and the never ending rebuild continues.

A” never ending rebuild” is the Cowboys going 20+ years without a playoff win, the Patriots are in the first year of the post Belichick era, and are just beginning to rebuild. Nothing would be more harmful to the franchise than to give in to the fans demands to win now, instead of following a systematic plan to rebuild the club over a few years. The Jets model of play the rookie QB now does not work, and that has been demonstrated over and over and over again.
