Godchaux on Keefe & the DBag show said that guys were playing outside the defensive game plan, stat hunting ... not something I actually picked up on... though, i have to admit it can be hard to follow along when i have been continually rolling my eyes... he didn't name names, so no one was actually thrown under the bus except for the nebulous "some guys"... guess it could be anyone but Godchaux?

anyone notice this? who's freelancing... and why, i guess... though that answer seems kinda obvious...

Based on what he's said, I'm going to guess White and Uche.

Uche likes to rush upfield and White seems to have a hard time once the action starts going east-west after his initial attack.

Dugger may have messed up on the long DK Metcalf TD two weeks ago.

Not a good look for Mayo.

Look like kids with parents with no discipline
Definitely not a good look. Problem is they’ve had so many injuries, even if he wanted to bench them for it, who plays instead? But he also hasn’t really shown much indication he would actually consider benching anyone…

It was obvious from the blatant failure to contain Purdy in the pocket that one or more players were not following the program

Uche, yes. Most likely.

White, I am not sure. He just doesn't know how to turn off his motor. He will learn as he gets older that going 100% on every snap is just going to turn into an advantage for the opponent because that is so predictable.

Uche is going to be a free agent next year, could be looking to stat pad...

White maybe has a case of hero ball, trying to carry the defense on his back... He's talented enough that he doesn't need to do that... When he's disciplined he elevates every one around him

Be interesting to see if any names leak after these comments

I thought it was a result of Covingtons defensive calls... But that could play a big role

I want Josh McDanials as OC and Mike Vrabrel as HC. When you add Maye, you now have stability and excellence for the next decade.
Why would you want Josh McDaniels as your OC when's he's proven multiple times he can't run an offense without Tom Brady?

Former players on the Broncos called this guy a fraud and his recent disaster in LV pretty much put the nail in the coffin for his career.

A former poster took **** on the daily for saying he was a bad OC, but turned out to be spot on.

Of course guys without long term contracts are going stat hunting. They are not playing to win a Lombardi.
I think it was Michael Irvin or Chris Carter said a long time ago that when players feel like the season is over, they will start making business decisions and tune everyone else out.

I was just saying in another thread that so far we haven't heard this type of stuff and now here we go. Must win next week to quiet some of this down.

This is bad.. looks like Mayo has no grip on team. Mayo should be benching Uche for next 2 games if true. If you don't crack the whip, you quickly lose the team.

Things might fall into place with time, I can’t see the future.

While some fans seem hellbent on wanting to ‘hear from the HC and players’ I always preferred BB’s style. I never cared about « having to answer » for this or that decision. But I did love the winning.
