Who is beating this Chefs team?
Eagles?
Lions?
Nobody in the AFC can get it done right now.
I know it’s the jets but just last year they gave KC all they could handle (and should’ve won if not for the refs) with Zach Wilson at qb.

In all seriousness, though, I guess it's based on one's definition of mediocre. Imho, he's a "good" QB. A pinch smidgen nip better than Kurt Warner's Mendoza Line of good which is a prime Andy Dalton. I also think initial impressions have played a huge factor (as in to me Sam Horn will always be awesome), as his rookie season was stellar even with the 1 and done in the playoffs. Mediocre doesn't really go to the playoffs. Good gets them there, and great (actual "elite") will overcome any other team deficiencies to get to the final or penultimate game.

I do agree with you in that the superlatives and money thrown at him are ridonkeylous. He's basically Romo.
I don't really think we disagree much on him, though I'm probably a little more down on him than you are. I think the Romo comparison is fair. Qb rating, compl.%,TD/yr are all almost identical. (Dak gets the nod by an insignificant margin.) Neither has even played in a Super Bowl. As for the money, no blame attaches to his accepting what in the end is offered. I'm a pretty thoroughgoing free market fella. Jerruh was dumb to offer it; Dak was smart to take it.

Why do the chiefs never have injury impacts. Their offensive linemen are stout as an ox, can't remember when Kelce last got injured and rashee rice is playing phenomenally well and on top of that Chris jones is a single man wrecking ball and chiefs can thank the pats for allowing Trent McDuffie, Xavier worthy, suamatai and possibly rice falling to them.

Poor Travis.

Eagles, Ravens and Niners if healthy could beat chiefs

Are these MNF games on regular TV or both on BSPN?
Is one on CBS? Very confused this season

I gotta admit that I admire the insanity of the Bills fans.

Why would the Jax coaches accept a 5 yard penalty when you just stopped the guy for a loss?
What's better, 1st and 15 or 2nd and 11?

I take 2nd and 11 99.9% of the time.

Jax's coaches are as clueless as their defense right now.

Their DB was following their WR on an end around when the WR reversed course but the DB kept coming across the field which gave them a huge gain.

There's just massive ineptitude on the Jags.

I’ll echo this. And - while crazy - they seem to rally behind opponent’s charities at various times, which tugs at the heart.
Things will change with the new stadium.

Tickets are cheap now.

buffalo starts fast... up 6... pat kick blocked though

Watching this game - with Lawrence (who might have the game of his life, I don’t know that yet) - reinforces my feeling that even the « can’t miss, generational QB picks » are far from a sure thing.

Lawrence was universally loved. He had the physical tools, the big game success, the size… he was as can’t miss as another non-SB participant : Andrew Suck.

Meanwhile, hundreds of players preceded Brady. Even a handful of players preceded Mahomes.

The draft is a crapshoot. And fans bemoaning picks and such really have no idea how difficult it is to truly ‘hit’ on any of these guys - including the no brainers.

True but his statement about winning a SB isn't all that or something whatnot soured me a bit on him. I didn't like that. Guess will we see about Maye.

Kincaid is a beast

Don’t believe it, classic rope-a-dope.
Nah he's pretty much cooked. He was talking about retiring last year, he's older than Gronk was and TE even ones like him age out fast.
