The Chiefs have the best QB, best head coach and best DC in the league and i don't think either of them are that close so it's not surprising they have an advantage over most teams who have a clear weakness at one of those spots.

The Chiefs just make the winning plays in every close game in all phases, literally.

Here's the thing, during a game, they always stay in it cause if their O comes up short, the D steps up on the next drive to shut down the opponent. If the D fails, the O plays like it's a GW drive in order to answer. Getting blown out is not in the cards.

I can’t really blame the Falcons. That play worked for me all the time in Madden 08, so obviously it should work in real life too.
